How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The street noise was pretty bad. We were on 6th floor facing Lonsdale so sleep was pretty limited

Balcony was dirty and had cigarette butts. Doesn’t seem to have been cleaned for a while. Road noise travelled through the main window in the bedroom we slept in.
Getting in out of hours was easy and as expected. Room was as expected.

Bed wasn't made very well, bottom sheet was too short for the bed. There was only one coffee cup and there was 2 adults staying.

Hotel was at very busy road so at night it's very noisy and we could sleep well cause of cars and people hanging close by. Could be cleaner.

The instructions were not clear on how to access our key. The parking was not clearly marked, we had to guess which bay was for us. There were no spare pillows and the two provided were quite flat. The wardrobe was so small and obscured by the bedside table. There was only one bedside lamp. The shower door didn’t close properly so the floor got quite wet. The batteries in the air conditioner control were flat. There was only one small glass provided and two odd mugs. No small plates. The “sharp” knife would barely cut through an apple. I realise that this is a budget hotel, but you can buy a decent crockery and cutlery set very cheaply at KMart or IKEA, the same can be said for two pillows and a bedside lamp.
The location was really good. Convenient to shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite large.

Curtain not able to be opened in second bedroom and was filthy behind it; no globe in lamp in second bedroom. Shower ledge where door opens looked like it could do with a good scrub. Fire sensor outside second bedroom was open and hanging down, so who knows if it was actually working. Curtains throughout were in a pretty average state. Only one teaspoon available in the kitchen. No lamp in sitting area so full down lights required to have some light at night. No instructions on checking out and when number at the desk was called I was directed to just leave keys on an unattended desk.
Location and the excellent Bellettis at the base of the apartments.

The " king bed" is 2 singles pushed together.. The worst sleep I can recall in accommodation I've stayed in. Mattresses were worn out and lost all integrity. Very disappointed indeed and this establishment no longer offers "BALCONY ROOMS ". Those rooms are now for permanent residents and DV victims. Motel rooms as far as I can tell are basic accommodation for guests now since PUNT HILL APTS sold it.
Belettis Restaurant is the finest restaurant for quality dining below the accommodation. The room was clean.

Lots of traffic noise, down lights in bathroom didn't work, limited crockery

The bed surface was poor. I felt the springs through the mattress. The zipper to make the 2 single beds into a king bed didn’t align causing discomfort.
Happy with cleanliness despite there being a suspicious stain on the floor carpet. Bed linen was nice and clean. The room smelt nice and clean too.

The balconies were very dirty and also the shower. Mainly the vent in the shower. There was no blind in the main living area and the blind were torn and dirty in the other rooms.
The restaurant downstairs was amazing. The room was comfortable and plenty of space.

The bed was king size which was great but the middle of the bed was like 2 separate beds , i didnt look under sheet but that was not comfortable if you stayed on your own side bed was great, should have had a matress topper on it and a fitted sheet, the bottom sheet was a flat sheet that did not tuck in properly so kept coming untucked and you found your self laying on mattress, only one pillow each 2 would have been good.

Stove , not working well, a lot of things that were on the list were not there like toaster, and pots and pans, pretty much no use of the kitchen . Balcony was dirty and chairs rusty

Signs for the Guest Parking were lacking, so some spots which were for guests weren't marked as such. Sliding door to balcony didnt seal at the bottom and the other balcony door needed to be wedged tight with cardboard so it didnt rattle in the windy weather.
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Check in was easy via the after hours dropbox. Close to nearby eateries.
