Nothing really - for my partner with mobility issues the access was challenging - but we both agree it was worth it . We really wished we had booked 2 nights instead of just one.

The property is a living art gallery with sculptures spread through the garden. The chalets are set on a hillside so are very private - and peaceful

We stayed during a very hot weekend, so the room was very warm even with the dyson and fan on.

Host was amazing and super accomodating. Qdos itself was beautiful - so happy to see some kangaroos hopping around too! Breakfast at the cafe was delicious and had great coffee. Beautiful artwork in the galleries and also in the surrounding areas. We stayed in the Yume house and it was perfect for the 2 of us - complimentary drinks in the fridge was a great bonus.

The Japanese style of the room was a nice surprise, the surrounding nature was beautiful, the host Jill was lovely and very accommodating and the art gallery was a bonus.

Breakfast was great and the location on the sculpture viewing deck very relaxing. A short walk around the sculpture park and garden before breakfast set us up for the day. Lorne is only 5 minutes drive away. Ipsos would be the best restaurant in Lorne and is worth booking in advance for dinner.

We rode there by bike and were greeted with a cheese board and cold drinks on arrival which was very unexpected. We were also taken to town to pick up takeaway food for dinner due to not having transportation which is over and above. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Would highly recommended.

Lovely peaceful ‘arty’ environment. The rooms were well spaced for privacy and quiet. The Japanese influenced interior decor is novel and tasteful, with welcoming personal touches such as fragrant flowers and cookies. Great cafe - food was fresh and really nicely cooked and presented. Hosts Jill and Graham are friendly, generous and interesting.

Gill was an excellent host, inviting us to a beautiful and unique accommodation. The surrounds were convenient, yet slightly secluded, just what we wanted. The property had a very romantic feel for any couple wishing for a weekend getaway. will definitely plan a visit again

It’s simple luxury, so no TVs or spas.

Qdos is primarily an art gallery with wonderful accommodation in five separate tree houses, not actually in trees, but with fantastic views as if they were. Wonderful staff with a lovely cheese platter and an excellent complimentary wine on arrival. Beautiful, comfortable room. Excellent food. We could live there for weeks.
