I wasn't expecting a housekeeping service, so that was a bonus. However would have been good for that housekeeping (made beds, replaced towels) to also check and replace the two empty toilet paper rolls (we had to go out and find a place to buy some late at night when there were no spares in the room either), and to wash the empty tea cup on the bedside stand. It wasn't a problem at all to do it ourselves, but it was unusual for a housekeeping service and detracted from their effort with the bed right next to it.

Large rooms, quiet environment, clean. minibar drinks/snacks complementary (although we paid a premium price for the room due to the generations in Jazz festival being on). Shower/water pressure was good.

Very disappointed on my arrival and how the reception man treated me, no friendly welcome just “ we could not charge your credit card” ok well I’m paying here so you shouldn’t of been trying to take out the payment and booking have not told me that anything has bounced. It was just really nude for the amount I’m paying for a rather basic hotel he shouldn’t have been bowing to me. The $197 was not realistic I don’t know where they got the idea that it’s worth that amount, no balcony no desk no view no spa and the outside looks like a hotel from the 70s it’s very.. brown. Also absolutely no option to have breakfast in the room. No bowls plates cutlery just glasses and tea spoons and for someone that is travelling all over the country this was really bad. Also the mini bar is filled with Drinks that you have to pay for (no prices shown anywhere) so no room for the food I’ve been carrying in a Esky so now I have melted coolers because no freezer either not even a mini one. Also the showered tile floor is incredibly slippery. Even forbid an elderly person has a shower.

I liked the room it was a good lay out and comfortable. Bed was good and comfortable. Bathroom and room was new and modern

I have stayed here a few times and its a fabulous motel the rooms are all renovated to a high standard and its great value for money. The staff are always polite and helpful.

The shower was the main down fall as there’s like 0 pressure due to it being a rain head and the glass is pointless unless you’re directly under the water it’s freezing I’d definitely look at changing those like it looks amazing but function wise it’s horrible especially for 200+ a night. I also booked for a room with microwave which there was none and didn’t know there was apparently a spa/pool or something

Very dated bathroom and decor. Ours was peach from the 70’s/ 80’s with a giant spa that no longer worked - sign stuck above it said bath only. Not all rooms look like the pictures they’re using in the advertising.

-There was a high pitched noise you could hear from bedroom when the shower was on. I think this was due to where it is positioned to devide the bedrooms and lounge. - Didnt know that the restaurant was closed. Would have been nice to know this and given suggestions where to go given it was Easter and places didnt open early for something to eat. - Although a beautiful room, $330 a night for room only and no other facilities is a bit much.

The room was very spacious, new and very modern. Had all the comforts you need in a room. Pillows were great!

There was no food provision, since the motel's restaurant was closed (without any notification to us). To make matters worse, there was no toaster, microwave or crockery apart from tea/coffee making. The place had the feel of what had once been pretty high end, but now needed updating. There was damage to some surfaces and there were few power outlets.

We stayed two nights and it was a comfortable place to be. Parking was easy and right by the door. Pretty quiet too, even though the motel is right on a main road. Our unit was at the rear.
