Lack of fresh air - windows are large but no opportunity to open them for some fresh air. The restaurant had few selections and which were expensive so we headed out for meals.

Large room, big windows with plenty of light, very comfy bed. Location is easy walking distance to several nice places to eat out. Nice garden setting.

The Irish lady on reception when I checked in was exceptional.

We did have a problem with the AC in our room which was dealt with quickly. I must say the two bedside lamps in our original room were really dirty but never got a chance to raise when were there as we moved quickly anyway.

Navi at reception was excellent. So well spoken and generally interested in us and what our plans were. He did also very quickly help us when we had a room problem and arrange for a room move Hotel good location pool was great.

Overall the hotel felt a little run down.

We only had a brief stopover. The rooms were large and well equipped. The location was quite good - a short walk from the river. It had a pool which unfortunately I didn't get to use. The lift didn't work.

The hotel was super convenient and the facilities excellent for our work program and accommodation. The staff were super supportive and helpful .

The staff were amazing, very friendly and professional. Fernando was extremely warm and welcoming and we felt at home right away! Breakfast buffet was more than ample, as was our evening meal.The property was very clean, inside and out. The bathroom and shower were great. Liked the heritage look. The swimming pool was well cared for too.

The only rooms available in the beautiful old building on all the advertising were suites, which is a bit misleading. The majority of rooms are in the adjacent building (c1960s classrooms), which was a bit disappointing but these rooms were comfortable though. The curtains were shabby, did not close properly, which compromised privacy in the evening, and allowed morning light in to ruin any chance of a lay-in. The TV was way too small for the room too and the seats weren't comfortable enough to watch TV from, which exacerbated the problem.

The main building architecture and surrounding gardens were superb. The bed was comfy and the room / bathroom was huge!

Can't think of anything at all.

We arrived after 10pm but no problem because we had already received two text messages with entry codes and photos of the location for entry. It was raining while we were in Rockhampton and staff always offered use of umbrellas and as we did not have a car staff would book a taxi for us. Not having been to Rocky for many years staff always assisted with locations. No problem recommending the Regent to family and friends or visiting again ourselves.

Perfect location in the centre of Rockhampton with easy access to the river, shops and restaurants. Comfy room and very helpful staff, i loved it!

Staff were very welcoming & accomodating, even when I accidentally left my room key in the room. Room had been recently renovated & was very clean & comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
