AustraliaCold plates for hot meals… inconsistent prices for drinks…the games room requires a refresh… table tennis table is an accident waiting to happen… the place needs a good pressure clean and broken items fixed or replaced….reception ok but leaving there was no thank you for staying or see you next trip… cold shower last morning was no fun. I think the manager/owner needs to look over the property as a guest and discretely check the tills.
Easy to move around…. Quiet for the most part…. The meal from the menu Friday and Saturday nights excellent….Taylor waitress was lovely …. Very professional and spoke well…. Others could learn from her….

ChileWe stayed there for 5 nights, we had to ask (insted of being schedule per room) for room service (cleaning of the room) and when it was done... they did not vaccum, clean the restroom, mirrors, or anything. They just did the bed and took the bin. Things we did daily anyways.

AustraliaOverall, our recent stay at the hotel fell short of expectations. The images in the advertisement did not accurately reflect the current state of the facilities, appearing outdated by about a decade. Additionally, several amenities, such as the spa and campfire, were not available during our stay. One notable concern was the lack of lighting on the walkway to the tavern, especially with the presence of roaming kangaroos, which posed a safety hazard. Furthermore, there were structural concerns regarding the deck and pagoda where Lillies is located, which multiple guests also noticed. Despite these issues, the staff at Lillies were commendable in their service. However, the use of long-life milk for cereal instead of fresh milk was unusual and affected the overall dining experience, "We can't have fresh milk out sitting for 7 days." While the rooms were spacious, they showed signs of wear and would benefit from a refresh. Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathrooms left something to be desired, with lingering odours that detracted from our comfort. In summary, while there were positive aspects to our stay, such as the attentive staff and room size, there are clear areas for improvement, including updating facilities, addressing safety concerns, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

AustraliaWith just a little work, this place could have a few Reno’s and be so much more. It’s such an idyllic and peaceful spot but the building is aging.
Beautiful lush country with plenty of wildlife. Staff were really friendly and the rooms comfortable for a good sleep. Golf course is gorgeous for an afternoon hit and the mountain bike track is only a short ride down the road. Unreal spot if you’re keen on some outdoor sports or just relaxing in nature.

AustraliaThe smell of bleach (or some other cleaning product) hits you when you walk into reception. It is matched only by the even stronger smell when we reached our room. The pathways and gardens are generally overgrown and full of weeds. The paths are covered in slippery moss and given it was raining when we were there, it required extra attention just to get around the grounds. Anywhere there was a wooden bridge or deck, the timbers were severely rotten. Attempts to patch up the rotting decking with plywood were also rotten and full of holes. The jetty at the lagoon was clearly falling into the lagoon and the chairs to relax on were broken and unusable. The pools were a disgrace. The overwhelming stench of chlorine permeates the entire area, presumably to compensate for the lack of cleaning and maintenance. The paving is uneven and collapsing off the side of the pool area, there were no "free pool towels" despite there being very few people swimming, the spa didn't work when I worked up the courage to risk pressing the exposed buttons, and there were clothes and underwear laying over the chairs. The buildings are in a dilapidated state with plaster and rendering coming off in chunks and efforts to repair, roughly patched and left unpainted. There is water damage throughout the buildings with ceilings starting to collapse and paint coming off in large sheets or bubbling. The whole place has an abandoned hotel feel about it. The dual tap in our bathroom that controlled water going to the shower or bath was broken, sending water to both outlets. I reported this to reception to be told their ONE maintenance person was not available (whispers from behind the counter indicated he was on leave). The next morning we wake to dead cockroaches on the floor. Better than live ones I guess. The evening meal at the onsite tavern was adequate, but nothing special. The buffet breakfast was small but adequate.
With the exception of a couple of them (who were either grumpy or needed training), the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location is quiet and peaceful. The beds were quite comfortable.

AustraliaGolf course need maintenance for the cart paths. This is a chronic problem. It detracts from the overall pleasure of being there. It is no small matter and a very expensive maintenance issue. Original choice of bitumen was a mistake for flood prone high rainfall region. Concrete would be ideal but very expensive. Even roadbase over the broken bitumen would be better and easily repaired.
