We had a problem with our air conditioner and had to change rooms which was a bit of a hassle but they sorted out another room for us.

The wait time at the front reception desk was sometimes quite long at certain times of the day.

Loved the excellent location, spectacular views, the room was really comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed and nice quality bed linens were super comfortable, and the pool area was great to watch the nightly sunsets, which were magical! Scarborough Beach is fantastic.

Air conditioning in the rooms need servicing.not cool enough.had trouble sleeping.coldest temp was 23 degrees.maintenance came to check it out and replaced filter.he said very old air conditioning unit in hotel. Bathroom fan not working, and bathroom sink blocked.took a while to drain sink when using it.

Room was looking a bit in need of renovation, Donna was stained and third draw down wouldn’t stay closed. Room was a little too warm as air con setting didn’t seem to go down. No fan in bathroom. Cleaning of room done too late in the day.

Staff and amenities - restaurants, bars and pool- were excellent. View and position couldn’t have been better.

No extractor fan in bathroom, was told that no rooms had one,so everything got wet !!!! Had a balcony but was too noisy to be out there,had no chairs to sit on anyway! Needed 2 people to open the sliding door to the balcony. Room looked very tired.

It was as we expected.

So close to the lovely Scarborough Beach, swam every day - golden sand at a patrolled beach. 2km walk to Trigg Beach. Located 30 min drive to Fremantle and same to Perth city. G8 breakfast. Staff responded quickly to our car park issue and solved it.

some staff on reception a little abrupt and did not appear interested in customers. balcony unfurnished but understandable due to high winds.

Location great for bars, shops and restaraunts. views amazing from balcony. good facilities and ample parking.

The pool area was poorly kept. Chairs broken and dirty (gum, sticky spills ) NEED A GOOD WASHING Also the balconies could use 2 chairs and a small table

Linens are newly changed but pillow itself smells old. No complimentary drinks, no toothbrush. I called the reception to bring us but didn't arrived. Women toilet room in the lobby some taps not working also even the exhaust fan. It's a bit warm in there and smelly. You're a guest but you need to pay $25 for parking.

To be honest, the hotel is a little tired. The outside needs a paint, and inside the furniture is scorched from misuse on bar tops and tables. The bathrooms need a good scrub too.

The location is unbeatable, the pool is just amazing although it was very cold this time around. We’ve been coming here since 1986 when the hotel opened and will keep coming as Scarborough has the best beachfront in Western Australia. The staff were lovely. Elena helped us to book in and was simply the most gorgeous helpful person.

The pool area really needs some shade, it has the structures there, but they are all missing a roof or shade cloth on them. Also, the pool recliners could do with cushions as they are very uncomfortable. Its unfortunately getting a bit dated and really requires some maintenance and repairs done.

The room we had was fantastic,it was on level 20 with awesome views of the ocean and the sunset. The location is right on the beach, and everything is (restaurants,cafes,bars) within easy walking distance. we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend the location for beach lovers.
