The staff are very friendly - before we arrived, they asked us the breakfast preference and sent us the property info. The room is very clean. The location is great - only 10mins drive from Cowes main shopping street, and 20mins from penguin parade.

Difficult to fault anything, although we're fans of our own pillows so would take our own next time!

The Mangrove was a beautifully appointed apartment ideally suited for couples with all of the conveniences you could possibly need. The breakfast supplies were perfect, especially given Michele had asked us our preferences beforehand! The surrounds and, of course, the hospitality and discrete friendliness of Michele and Brian made this a lovely getaway.

Michele and Brian were amazing hosts. Greeted us after arriving a little later. Showed us around and explained the little details of the room and property. We had a very generous spread of eggs, ham, fruit, avocado, toast and fruits for breakfast. Plus juice and lots of tea and coffee options. Room was warm and cozy for the cold winter night, especially with the gas heater in the lounge. Bed was comfy. Michele and Brian checked in each day on us to make sure everything was ok and accommodated us a late check out. Great spot, highly reccomend.

There was nothing about this property that we didn't like

Really enjoyed the breakfast provisions. There was plenty of food and of a good quality and variety. The open fire was easy to light and added a lovely atmosphere to the room. The bathroom with the double spa and huge double shower were top quality. Brian and Michelle were friendly and very helpful.

Fantastic location not too far from Cowes and other sightseeing attractions in the area. Enjoyed our cosy getaway amongst the wildlife especially hearing the sounds of the kookaburras in the morning. Will definitely go back there!

Nothing - the place was perfection

Our hosts Michele and Brian were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The Mangrove Suite that we stayed in was enormous, spotlessly clean, classy and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable time away from home. The fixtures and fittings were high quality and the bed was very comfortable. The suite was kept warm with a large gas log fire and separate heater in the bedroom. The bathroom was massive with lots of supplies and a huge spa bath. The shower pressure was fantastic. The breakfast provisions were abundant and the added touch of fresh fruit and snacks was very welcome. The suite is in a peaceful and quiet location and the space was private. Loved it!!

Nothing, accommodation exceeded our expectations

Everything. This very spacious cottage is amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. Everything you could want is there and the hosts Brian and Michele were lovely and welcoming and nothing is to much trouble for them. We definately be recommending to family and friends and is on our revist list.

The small touches such as toiletries and breakfast supplies were lovely. I was given an abundance of cereals, fruit, eggs, bread and different teas and coffees to choose from. The loft was immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Nights sitting in front of the fire, sipping a wine and watching Netflix or relaxing in the spa was a delight. My hosts extended me a late checkout at no cost and even put my bags in the car! I will definitely be back again with husband n tow next time.

Pretty uncomfortable bed, which was quite a shame. Breakfast was included, however it was just breakfast items supplied to make your own. This was the main appeal for booking here for me, as I love a ready made breakfast included while on a vacation. So to find I had to make my own breakfast I was a little disappointed, especially considering the price we paid. Had I known I would have just brought my own items to make breakfast, or stayed elsewhere and paid for a cafe breakfast.

Very clean and welcoming. The host met us at our car, showed us to our room and explained how everything worked. She let us know to contact her if we needed help with anything. It was nice and quiet. The shutters they have installed kept out the light in the morning which was lovely.

The owners lied about having 2 smart televisions, there was only one in the lounge that was tiny and the surround sound didn't work. The second in the bedroom was larger but only had 1 working channel and wasn't a smart TV. The loft was an attic and was miss represented as a loft, where we both injured ourselves by hitting our heads on the exposed beems and injured our backs having to walk bent over and sideways in a crab formation to get into bed and other location around the attic. We will never stay here or recommend anyone to stay in these loft want to be apartments again and feel like we where cheated and paid way to much to be torchured. Definitely not a setup for the luxury romantic accommodation they promised for our second honeymoon it was nothing.

Bed uncomfortable both of us found it hard to sleep and woke up sore. Also, there was a lot of noise from the upstairs occupants. We thought due to the price we wouldn't be sharing walls with different rooms.
