Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumThe hosts, Peter and Susie, are genuinely warm and welcoming people: they made me feel very much at home! The breakfast offered consists of high-quality, healthy food and was quite frankly a lot better than any breakfast I had had in any hotel during my three-week trip. For dinner they offer a homecooked, two-course meal (main dish and dessert) which I highly recommend. The food is splendid and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner table talks with the hosts and the other guests! This B&B is perfectly located for exploring the Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National park. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the park and Tasmania in general and helped me a lot with lots of information and good advice. I had two fabulous hikes there, saw lots of pademelons and even some wombats!

AustraliaIt is in the native forest just above Wilmot , close to Cradle Mountain and Sheffield . It was a great location for Aurora photography with 2 viewing platforms very close by. Our hosts Suzi and Pete were magnificent . We enjoyed a meal for 10 on our last night and then we all walked a short distance down the road to the photo viewing platform and we all got photos of the Aurora . It was an unforgettable night of fun . Next morning our car wouldn’t start . Pete , a man of many talents did everything he could to get us started . With a plane to catch in Hobart we had to abandon the car at Robins Nest with Suzi having to deal with RTAC and towing trucks etc . We even were given a lift to Hobart by Suzi and Pete’s relatives who were at the property. Truly amazing Tasmanian kindness and hospitality.

Susie and Peter are the kindest hosts! They can give you tips that really add value to your holiday. In the area of Wilmot and far around it. They serve delicious food! It is a nice and quiet place, but still only 40 minutes away from Cradle Mountain visitor centre.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Robin’s Nest B&B deserves one. The hosts were exceptionally accommodating, generous, and warm. The food they have prepared for both breakfast and dinner were scrumptious! If we ever go back to Tasmania especially in Cradle Mountain, we will surely go back to this place.

Among our best B&B experiences ever. Our room was very nice, equipped and decorated with attention to every detail (Besides a kettle with tea and coffee, the jar of home-made florentines was such a nice touch!) and the bed was super comfy. The location is pretty and convenient to Cradle Mountains and other sites. But the most special feature of this property is certainly its hosts, Susie and Peter, who are simply the loveliest couple and so genuine in their hospitality and love for the land they inhabit. They also gave us fantastic tips about places to see during our stay. And their breakfast and cooking were delicious. Highly recommended!

SingaporeHad a most pleasant experience with this BnB... 6-star! Very well-furnished room, quality toiletries and with some very thoughtful provisions. The Host/Hostess (Pete/Suzie): wonderful personalities, warm and sincere, always willing to extend assistance to ensure a comfortable stay and experience. The husband & wife combination churned out excellent breakfast and dinner, during our 3D2N stay. One of the best fish chowders! They also entertained, with a tour of their vast area, star-gazing and paddy-melon watching. A rather memorable interaction with host/hostess and fellow-BnB mates that occupied the other room. A highly recommended BnB, for a totally different stay experience.

SingaporeWe can't point to any. Maybe the distance from Cradle Mountain. But they had a beautiful property.
Peter and Susie were fantastic hosts They took care of us very well. Their breakfasts were superb. They even offered to do dinner for us, and we sat together and had a wonderful evening chatting the whole night with wine. They made our trip to Tasmania an unforgettable one. God bless them 🙏
