“The hosts, Peter and Susie, are genuinely warm and welcoming people: they made me feel very much at home! The breakfast offered consists of high-quality, healthy food and was quite frankly a lot better than any breakfast I had had in any hotel during my three-week trip. For dinner they offer a homecooked, two-course meal (main dish and dessert) which I highly recommend. The food is splendid and I thoroughly enjoyed the dinner table talks with the hosts and the other guests!
This B&B is perfectly located for exploring the Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National park. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the park and Tasmania in general and helped me a lot with lots of information and good advice. I had two fabulous hikes there, saw lots of pademelons and even some wombats!”
“We had the best time in this “tiny home”, Tara is a lovely host who cannot do enough for you. The tiny house had everything you need, lovely breakfast welcome basket which did us for two days. Bring your own supplies for lunch and dinner as not near shops, but the advantages are it’s quiet, isolated, peaceful and has a great outdoor/indoor fires and the most beautiful private area in the backyard for star gazing. Tara is an excellent host, her dogs just beautiful but you don’t need to mix with them if you wish as separate properties. We have already recommended “Shepard and Sprout” to our family and friends and would come back in a heart beat for walks to Cradle Mountain as about 30 mins away. Thank you so much Tara and Zoe, you have the most amazing tiny house, well equiped, so clean and you have thought of everything. Love the “black washers for make up”!
