Room thermostat is fixed with warnings not to adjust it, room was quite cold. Tv in living room very small, limited instructions how to use Foxtel and much of it not open. Tv in bedroom looks like an afterthought, cables draped across wall look awful.

Huge room, old but in very good condition. Fully equipped kitchen, large bedroom and a separate laundry.

Steps down into the apartment, didn't realise they had them as nothing in the room description other than all rooms accessible by lift, mum has bad knees so limited her access to the kitchen which was at the top of the steps - she would only do the steps on the way in and out. Couldn't get the VCR to work, neither could the staff.

Location is excellent, 10 meters from Queen Street mall. Staff friendly, although sometimes a bit of a wait while they parked cars - but generally not for long. The rooms are spacious and architecture wonderful. Showers hot. Car parking available, can take your car out as needed. Amazing double bank high car park - what a great use of space.

Literally the only downside was the hot water in the shower wasn't very hot, otherwise no real problems.

Stayed for Magic Round 2024, location was fantastic for that, right on Queen Street. The rooms were fantastic, we had the Sub Penthouse, very roomy and the bathrooms were great

Great location . We booked a 1 bedroom apartment and received a 2 bedroom apartment so had lots of room. Valet parking was a very reasonable rate

The staff at the reception desk should be a little more helpful when customers ask for information about the city sights and public transportation. Also we requested for a late check out just by an hour 11 a.m instead of 10 a.m as we had an evening flight to catch but this wasn’t granted .

The location of the property was the best part…the unit we stayed in was self contained and comfortable.

The dishwasher was inefficient and we had to wash the cups by hand, including those in the cupboard when we arrived.

Location was amazing, 100m from the mall. The size of our suite made our stay very comfortable. The car-parking was easy, great stacker!

When I booked the site said I had a bath, but found I didn’t when I reached the room, but had a lovely modern bathroom, I was too tired to bother complaining about no bath.

Unclear wording about the parking - should be showing on Booking.com as having parking available without noting there is only valet parking that you have to pay for.

Bring back the mini bottles of spirits (mini bar)! Bring back the trays and metal cloches re: room service (as opposed to plastic wrap)... although that's probably a Café Mondial issue.

Everything was perfectly clean and well ordered. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent room service/menu and breakfast. Love that the restaurant is right there and can be charged to hotel bill.

This hotel is beautifully curated and decorated with heritage furniture and objects in the hallways and reception. Therefore, I find it non-matching that the dirty linen trolleys are parked - day and night - just outside the lifts. Makes one think of COVID/dirty nappies/ the owners don't know this is happening? If they MUST be there (cheaper laundry service one suspects) would be so easy to have a cover over these displays - but no-one has got around to it. When I first stayed there, this did not happen, a change in staff/a change in linen handling/ a change in owners over the past few years????? A pity.

Large rooms/ quiet, excellent bathroom shelving and hooks, etc. Cafe on the premises. Taxi stand a few steps away (no need to book a taxi!!!!!! A sense of history.
