We thought that the bed was a little hard. Pillows not very supportive.

If I had to pick something to criticise, the pool areas dont get a lot of direct sun but that’s just the positioning of the resort facing the beach when the sun rises to the left of property and sets on right rather than in front/behind. We got a premium room and I expected the kitchen to be renovated too but it wasn’t - but we still loved our apartment. I’d be hard pressed to find things we didn’t like. We had such a lovely stay.

We had a really great stay at RUMBA. We were allocated an apartment on the same level as the pool and bar which was greatly appreciated as we had 3 children with us so this made it easy to access the pool etc. We had a 3 bedroom apartment and it was spacious and sufficient for our stay. We had a stunning view of bullocks beach. The location is good with cafes and restaurants below the hotel as well as it being within walking distance 5-10 mins to Main Street and shopping centre. We also walked along beach track down to the big wheel and grabbed coffee each morning. There are heaps of parks along the way. We loved bullocks beach because it has a huge beach - sand area, the water is shallow and calm, perfect for kids! We enjoyed happy hour from 4-6pm $14 cocktails. My toddler knocked a full drink and the gentleman at the bar replaced it for free- which was greatly appreciated!! We stayed 4 nights and it was the perfect amount of time. Probably wouldn’t stay for longer as we’d probably get bored.

One of the bar staff wasn't very friendly

Reception staff were very informative and friendly. Great location having the restaurants below and the beach across the road. The kids absolutely loved the pool and spa area.

I found the bed a bit uncomfortable.

Room didn't have a much of a view - we were looking at a wall - the back of the front building and the lights never went out at night making our room very bright even with the curtains closed.

Loved the location, pools, bar, room - bathroom/kitchen. Very nice break away.
