Layout was ‘awkward’. Hard to determine good access points to and from Esplanade etc and had to navigate doors and long long hallway to get to room!

Lovely location and ambience. Nice large room well outfitted with quality toiletries bath robe etc. Breakfast was a nice treat. Pool was refreshing and large.

Horizon Club Access was well worth the money with excellent food and drink available most of the day. Amazing views of the marina and spacious room.

The pool area needs to be updated. You could see rust marks around the pool area. The pool bar was very old and only had one staff member. Would be better to have more staff. The breakfast needed more variety.

Come on, it's a 5-star luxury hotel. Can't complain anything because they've done everything in the way you expect (or, the way you pay). The views from the balcony to Bay Marina is splendid. The sunrise is also a must-see. You need some luck because the sun will have to rise above two mountains to the east of the hotel, which were often covered in thick clouds. But the stunning sunrise is worth all the patience. One thing I have to zonk - the beds were on wheels :( They never stay still even when you lock all the wheels. I would expect a wheeler bed in budget hostels because this helps staff move beds around easily but NOT in a luxury hotel. My wife and I were laughing so hard when we saw this. But when you enjoy a drink on the balcony looking at Bay Marina, when you see the magnificent sunrise, and when you enjoy the hotel garden & poolside, you'll realise that you didn't come here to sleep. So forget about those wheels and enjoy your stay here!

Great location with very helpful staff. Tour booking desk on site which came in quite helpful as we had to modify plans due to majority cyclone coming in several weeks prior to our arrival.

The games room was lacking it didn't have enough games. The food we ordered wasnt awesome our chips we soggy but when I complained staff were quick to rectify amd change the oil.

The hotel was lovely and clean, all the staff were friendly and efficient. The pool was great and the location was fabulous, you could walk to so many things hardly needed the car at all.

The service was not 5 star. Terrible check in, slow and lazy pool bar service who wouldn't deliver drinks to deck chairs, house keeping doesn't come until 4:30 in the afternoon. Horizon club was a waste of money. It had the same poor quality foods over and over again with cold, stodgy spring rolls, samosa and mini pies etc. Cold and dry breakfasts so we mostly went to the main breakfast downstairs. There was never water bottles and often no snacks available during the day. I stayed twice with a day in between bookings totaling 9 days at the hotel and horizon club. It took until day 7 for the staff to recognise and acknowledge me remembering my preferred drink.

It's a great location and the room we had had was a decent size with an fabulous view but not all do - some have terrible views and sit above a late night bar.
