Pool was freezing, our bed was beyond uncomfortable- the team tried to pad it a little which I’m grateful for but it made no difference. The mattress was rock hard. I had higher expectations for the bed, decor etc for the price. If the pool was heated properly, we would have spent way more time at the pool.

Hotel was in a great location - close to shops, restaurants and beach. Reception staff were very helpful and informative. Room was very clean, comfortable and roomy. Pool was great. Bar pool was fantastic and we enjoyed the cocktails - Nathan in particular was so nice, friendly and cheerful. The hotel bar could close a little later, especially when people are in there watching the tennis final on the big screen.

The receptionist who admitted us in the front desk. She sounded like she’s second guessing herself and she didn’t speak much and she’s. not friendly. She could be French. She was so slow in processing our check in and I was busting. And I asked her where the restroom was and she said, the restaurant?? I said no the restroom/toilet and that’s the only time she was able to understand what I meant

Rooms a little dated. Breakfast ok but not 5 star (had to wait 10-15min each day to order coffee). Cleaners asking to come into clean room despite “do not disturb” sign up. QR codes by the pool not working (but staff didnt advise).

The breakfast special ($49) was terrible - it was only saved by freshness of croissants and chocolate thing. Toast cold, only one small container of yoghurt, no coffee or orange juice. When i rang about coffee and oj, coffee finally arrived in takeaway paper cup.

We were disappointed with the presentation of the corridor to the room which had a carpet that was very uneven in places. It appeared to have trip hazards that went from the lift area to our room a distance of at least 50 metres. It was the only thing that detracted from the rest of the presentation and could have been easily rectified. Would have been a real issue for anyone with mobility issues.

Room was good and we enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast in the Beach House was very enjoyable.

The mini bar staff and hosue keeping staff do not knock before entering which is most off putting.

Large room, with a fabulous view, good swimming pool. Location is excellent, right in the centre of everything. The reception staff are very friendly and checking out at midday makes a huge difference.
