Beautiful location, amazing scenery and wildlife, ideal place to stay for Cradle Mountain adventures and for visiting other places of interest in this beautiful area of Tasmania. Friendly and most hospitable owners made it a very comfortable stay.

Lovely views, interesting walk to an old abandoned silver mine, night walk to see animals, very nice indoor pool. Cottage was a nice size, comfortable beds, good kitchen…..very pleasant place. About a 45 min drive to Cradle Mt Park, on windy roads. Owners are very helpful.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The scenery was breathtaking. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Our host was knowledgeable and generous.

The property is absolutely stunning! just a short drive from great services but you feel very remote. Easy drive across to Cradle Mountain for the day. John is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The outdoor picnic tables make for relaxed alfresco dining!

No oven but we took a small portable barbecue so we were ok. there is in fact a communal barbecue on site but we didn’t see it mentioned in the literature

amazing location in the countryside with spectacular views. the cottages/chalets were set on the hillside well spaced out. great swimming pool and local based walks. we loved the trip to the mine with kids on

This is my second stay in this property and I am still enjoying the facilities , views and environment. The host is very kind to show us around the estate at night to spot some wild animals. Will be my first choice accommodation when I next visit cradle mountain

What a farm stay experience! This place is absolutely beautiful, and big. I took a morning walk around to the woods within the property and saw the chickens and cattle along the way and some wild animals. Very friendly owner who patiently provides information on the wildlife of Tasmania. I was a little worried about internet connection but it turns out the wifi is actually quite good Wish I could have stayed there for an extra day so I could have time to enjoy the spa, see the sunset against Mt Roland and meet the platypus in the ponds!

I would have appreciated more kitchen utensils (I ended up buying some) such that a meal could be cooked more easily. If you need reliable internet, this is not the right place for you.

Beautiful location, clean comfortable cabin. Quiet, relaxing place with wonderful mountain background. A more affordable accommodation option near Cradle Mountain.

It was so so so windy at the first night. I couldn’t get to sleep with the sound of wind!

Great view of the mountain Roland. Staff is very friendly and helpful with everything. With his recommendation we visited the Silver mine cave nearby and saw many spiders guarding their egg sac. A very unique and memorable experience! The cabinet is very spacious with everything we need. The other big bonus is the stars at night - beautiful!

This was the perfect location for us to base ourselves to explore cradle mountain for a few days. The views around the property were so beautiful and the accommodation was cosy and bigger than we imagined based off the pictures. Will be recommending to friends and family and hopefully return myself one day!

We loved it all!

The property is absolutely picturesque and there's heaps to do in terms of walks etc. The owner is lovely and very helpful. Yes the cabins and furniture are very dated (don't expect modern, it's more like a 90s decor) but everything was super clean, beds were comfortable and all round just a wonderful stay
