The queen bed was a bit hard, so sleep not great, but they gave me a padded blanket for the second night that helped. Also the heating mechanism on the spa wasn't very clear, so we couldn't turn it off over night, but I understand they are working on this.

All the ambience of the place, the chalet, it's setting in amongst tree ferns and tall trees, totally secluded and quiet. Complimentary birdseed attracted lorakeets and king parrots to the verandah. All equipment in kitchen great and good bathroom. Lovely and friendly hosts - Paul and Sharron were great. Close to all the walks we wanted to do, and so peaceful. The first night the spa was great.

Everything about Chalet 4 was great. Spacious and clean. Wood throughout with lots of areas to relax and enjoy the view of the rainforest from the floor to ceiling windows. Bonus hot tub downstairs. Lots of friendly birds visiting all day. The property has new hosts and where very friendly and welcoming. Will be back to stay again! P.s A little tip, turn the heat down low on the hot tub at night and it won't turn on and disturb your sleep ;)

The bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom downstairs not a problem for us but could be for someone with mobility issues.

A very private chalet in the rainforest. Loved the birds that come to feed on our patio each afternoon even sitting on our hand. The owner had lots of local knowledge of the birds and wildlife. The chalet had plenty of room for a family

We really enjoyed the quiet location, with bird feeding right outside on our deck. We even got to hand-feed some of the birds which was cool! The spa bath was relaxing and there was plenty of fire-making supplies available. Paul was very friendly and had lots of helpful advice on the different hiking paths nearby which was great.

Location, amenities, comfort and ambience were all amazing. I needed rest and relaxation and it was the perfect spot. The hosts were also excellent, friendly and sincere.

The bathroom does not have a heater/IXL tastic heat lamp. Given that this area gets quite cold in winter I would have thought that this would be a good addition. Also, no heated towel rack.

Location was ideal with the site just off the main road a few kilometers from the main town centre. The Chalet was surrounded by rainforest & lovely ferns. There was a wood fireplace that was put to use & heated up the chalet well. After a nice day walking around the area, we also took full use of the hot tub - ahhhh....... Bird seed was provided & we managed to get some colourful parrots & 1 cockatoo to pay us a visit in the morning. All in all, we had a very nice weekend.

5 star hosts. Loved (and needed) the written instructions on how to light the fire - felt like we were experts after a few days. Birds coming to feed from our hands was incredible. A true getaway and will be back.

Could have brighter lighting

Fantastic spa and fire place. Convenient for cooking with pots and pans. Included lots of firewood and bird seed. Very clean with beautiful wooden ceilings. Cosy lounge area with excellent movie selection. Close drive to scenic destinations. One of the best holidays I've ever had.

A heat lamp.in tbe bathroom as it was quite cold in that part of the chalet. Also bath robes would have been appreciated.

Smooth, easy check in process with friendly staff. Its ridiculously quiet and the staff are mindful of keeping noises minimal, if anything at all.

The bed was very hard and we’d bring a mattress topper when we come back.

The location was fantastic and the cabin was beautiful. Partner loved the spa and I enjoyed feeding all the beautiful birds every morning.

The bed was not good at all. The mattress was really hard and you could feel all the springs. The fireplace was broken and didn't gave as much heat as it normally would do.
