No notice of restaurant not being open before booking which made it difficult to find other quality food options in the area. Cabin was self contained but grocery options are extremely limited in area. There were also lots of laminated notes with instructions on them through the cabin which were unnecessary and ruined the atmosphere of a deluxe spa cabin. In the roof was only half a smoke alarm which seemed problematic and there broken fittings on the walls.

The location was good. Scenery and view from room were stunning. Very quiet and peaceful. The spa bath was lovely and the stand out of the cabin. The deck was also spacious and sunny and very private. I’d recommend being prepared with own food in case the restaurant is closed as was the case when we were there.

The kitchenette is basic, but clean, and the bathroom/shower is a bit pokey.

The location is beautiful! And very close to Port Arthur, so great for visiting. The beds are very generous and comfortable. It is very nice waking up surrounded by forest and amazing watching the sunrise/sunset on the sand with the lapping of waves. The cabins are quite and private, hardly knew we had neighbors!

Would have been great if the cabins had wifi connections too. Wifi was only available in the restaurant.

Cosy yet modern wooden cabins by the beach. Loved listening to the lapping waves from the wooden deck. Lodge area also has some really nice facilities including a good modern restaurant, good children's playground and also easy access to a nice sandy pristine beach.

This is nit-picking, but none of the pillows were right for me. (My hubby had no complaints.) A small bottle of cooking oil for the bbq and paper towels, cling wrap or foil would have been handy but we made do without. These are really minor issues and I can understand that it may not be practical to try to supply them.

For me the first thing is the comfort of the bed.Happy to say the one in cabin 4 is nice and firm and not saggy at all.. hurray! Our 1 bedroom cabin had everything for self catering; it might not be the height of luxury or trendiness, but it was clean and comfortable and everything was in good working order. The washing machine and dryer were much appreciated. Another couple of ticks. Suzie at reception could not have done more to help us out and has a wonderful knowledge of the Tasman Peninsula. Full marks to her and many thanks. The Lodge is in a lovely bay with wrens and pademelons and in a convenient location to walks and attractions. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to dine at the restaurant but hope to do so at a future date.

I believed from the booking.com selection that we were booking a one bedroom chalet with a spa bath, however after checking in we realised the cabin had no bath at all. Also the kitchen at the restaurant ceased to serve food well over an hour before closing time which caught us out following a evening activity.

Lovely, well appointed cabins that are nicely spaced out.
