Spectacular surround views of the ocean. Apartment was very clean and had modern facilities. The resort is in Main Beach, a quaint little town that is bustling with cafes and only a couple of kms from Surfers. A lovely stroll along the beach or on the esplanade (approx 25 mins). The property is also 12 mins walking distance to the Southport Yacht Club, a perfect spot for lunch!

A couple of the globes were not working when we arrived at the property and the kitchen tap handle was loose. However, these maintenance items were attended to promptly when we raised them with the nice lady on Reception. There was only one dishwashing tablet and one small sachet of dishwashing liquid in the starter pack and 2 garbage bags provided in the kitchen. Only one roll of toilet paper was provided per bathroom. We stay at many self-contained units and they have all provided us with a sufficient supply of these necessary items to last the duration of the stay nor just enough for the first day. For the money you pay, you would expect to be supplied with a decent amount of these items. It was quite disappointing. It would have been nice to have some salt and pepper provided also. The beds were a bit on the hard side. It was a bit inconvenient having to go down to the basement to throw recyclable bottles and packaging into the big bin. A steamer would have been handy to have in the kitchen. There were only 3 drinking glasses in the kitchen. Usually there are at least 6.

We liked that Sunbird was out of the rat race of Surfers yet still within walking distance or a tram ride away (3 stops to Cavill Avenue). We used the tram every day. It was a very efficient and reasonably priced service (trams every 7 minutes). We were on the 12th floor. The only noise we heard was an occasional loud car zooming down the beach road late at night or a resident closing his door on his way out to work. We had a beachside unit with great views of the beach. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable. We had a nice long table in the dining area. The kitchen was spacious, plenty of bench space with a large fridge and an inverter cooktop. This was important as we did most of our own cooking. It was very handy to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. There were 2 clothes drying racks also, an iron and an ironing board.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The pools are great and our family enjoyed using the squash courts. The view from our balcony was amazing and we loved the location. We would definitely stay here again.

The ventilation fan in the bathroom is on all day until late evening and can be a bit noisy especially if you want to have an afternoon nap!

Our apartment on the 20th Floor has a 180 degrees view of the beach and ocean across the road. It was spectacular to be able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the balcony. The apartment was very spacious with a big lounge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry. It is well-located and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants at Tedder Ave. Miriam, the resident hostess, is extremely friendly and courteous and responded to our requests promptly, thanks.

The furniture was a bit shabby and there were two outdoor chairs on verandah but one had worn through so could not sit on it but there were enough dining chairs to use.

Its a great apartment with spectacular views of the ocean. Its well equipped kitchen wise and the laundry had everything too, also has foxtel. Location is excellent for main beach and Tedder Avenue and tram to surfers and broadbeach. The staff in particular Marian are so friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay again.

That we had to go home!!!

Location, room size, cleanliness of facilities and welcoming nature of staff. Views of both the city and surf with double balconies and floor to ceiling windows throughout. Plenty of space to accommodate sleepy little ones with rooms tucked away from entertaining areas. Indoor pool space was heated and comfortable. Showers and changing facilities made using the pool a breeze. Kitchen and laundry were well equipped and made for an easier break when travelling with children. All equipment was modern and up to date with tech trends.

The only downside was that we had no garbage bin in our room, and the TV was difficult to use.

Friendly reception when we arrived. Parking was easy to use. The bed was super comfy, and there was plenty of room in the apartment that was clean and tidy.

Couldn't fault this place, even the staff we extremely friendly.

So very happy with our stay. Everything was perfect. The view from our room/balcony was unbelievable. We wanted a peaceful escape for the week, and that's exactly what we got. Some days we barely left the hotel (resort) utilising the pools, tennis court, BBQ area and just soaking up the view in between. We'll be back for sure!

Just had few issues with hot water running out with family of four who probably shower longer than they should, and wiFi not that good, quite glitchy. Tennis court great, but rackets supplied a bit knacked, could do with replacing.

The fact there was 2 families in our group & we were put on different levels, even though I asked to be on the same level. We couldn't visit each other as the key swipe only let you travel to your own floor in the lift.

Very clean, comfy, & managers were very friendly! The pool options at this accommodation is fantastic!
