Great size family room. Well located outside town but close enough. Friendly staff. Overall happy qith the stay.

We were very disappointed with cleaners started clean rooms and through food from fridge before 10am checked out. Cleaners or staff should not clean the room without we returning key.

I like the room design, very elegant! The bed was very comfortable.

Bathroom fittings (toilet and basin) are getting tired and will need updating at some time. A bit awkward to get water from the bathroom basin tap for tea/coffee making as the jug would not fit under the spout. Bed was a little saggy.

A quiet location set a good distance off highway with our wing having a good size room with a beautiful red gum park-like setting adjacent. Reception and the Highlander restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful, with discount vouchers for Naracoorte caves entry, food was excellent and good value for a restaurant meal. USB charging station provided. WiFi was good. Price is very good value.

When we ask for room to be made up for the day. Bed was not made just pulled up. Glass was not cleaned.

The reception was great, they were able to put us in adjacent rooms as we asked, and responded to all our questions promptly. We made it just in time to also enjoy dinner in their restaurant, which was very good (definitely beyond our expectations). Quiet place, with picturesque surroundings, could definitely stay for more than one night. I was very happy to book this place rather than some other motel in the city.

The 4th bed though was a sofa bed and it was very uncomfortable - curved and generally not doable for more than one night.

The restaurant has very tasty food, vegan options available as well. The room was spacious and had everything we needed even a microwave!

When having a shower, although water nice and hot every time someone in another room turned on water shower went cold, would not be happy in winter! Walls very thin could hear lots in room next door. Rooms a little dated but clean but you have to remember you’re not paying for a 5 star hotel. Overall for the price we were very happy.

All staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Restaurant food delicious! Bed was firm but comfortable.

Property set back from main road (less noisy). Family room (25) had everything we needed. We especially liked the attention to detail (eg electric blinds for twin room when afternoon sun would have made room hot, the additional towels) & especially new bathroom, large TV & super WiFi that we could all (4) use at the same time.

Owner/Manager assured us our early checkin and our dinner reservation was confirmed, but he clearly hadn’t passed this onto reception or cleaning staff.

the light outside the room was a bit too bright. It did affect my sleep a bit , it would be nice if it was a bit dimmer or if curtains came closer the window so it could be blocked out.

Chef prepared a vegan meal for my wife, no spices as requested, excellent Flathead and chips for me. Restaurant is convenient , well set out and they have an excellent range of craft beers at reasonable prices . Bed was very comfy , room very clean and modern , excellent big TV , quiet location off main road , woken by magpies in the morning---- not traffic. Easy walking trails near the motel .
