Beach was fantastic, food was excellent, staff were very courteous. Location of resort was perfect.

Breakfast used to be buffe style but it has changed to made to order, which was still great but a little disappointed of the change.

Food, staff service and facility were exceptional. Our highlight was the nature walk and star gazing tour.

Only one wheelchair accessible bungalow, there could be so much done to make this beautiful place open to everyone!

Gorgeous resort in a gorgeous location just outside of Port Douglas. We loved everything about our stay! The bungalows were such a lovely room and walking through the rainforest to get everywhere made it that much more relaxing!! All the facilities are very well maintained and the staff so genuinely wanted to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. There is so much to do at the resort you wouldnt even have to leave and its only a $10 courtesy bus if you do want to head out to Port Douglas.

Not the fault of the facility but do bring bug spray and check the bed! Received some uncomfortable bug bites. Also the cabins are a little dated and little phone reception, but otherwise comfortable and a lovely experience.

Sleeping amongst the forest was a wonderful treat, and the staff were absolutely outstanding.

Be aware that due to the location some paths are uneven and not always suitable for the elderly. however the staff quickly resolved our issue’s by moving the rooms we stayed in.

Limited food options if you don’t want to dine in the restaurant (which has a delicious but very limited dinner menu), some guests may have difficulty getting phone reception but ours was generally ok in all the common areas. We Enjoyed not having in room wifi but some people might not enjoy that.

Incredible stay, beautiful resort and so clean and lovely. Staff were amazing and always went the extra mile. Breathtaking views.

Dinner was amazing in the restaurant. Beach access via the network of paths. The guys doing the golf buggies were great. Reception staff were really good. The views from the beach were great.

For the cost of the room, the bed could have been a little more comfortable, mattress was two singles pushed together. Shower head could have done with a bit of clean, difficult to get the sand and sunscreen off with low water pressure. Given the times we're living in, very minor issues.

Food was nice, although a little more variety would be ideal. Setting is awesome (drinks overlooking Oak Beach from Curlew Bar area) and layout of the reception, pool and bar area is great, easy access to everything. Rooms were a good size, with great service (including cart where required). Had a very relaxing massage as well. The grounds are brilliant, nice for morning walks (featuring turtles!). Good accessibility to Port Douglas as well roughly 15 minute drive into town.
