The following is worth mentioning as this is expensive accommodation that could easily be improved: There is a major issue with refrigerator space and the galley-style kitchen is cramped and difficult to use. There is no hot plate or oven, though there is a Nespresso machine, microwave, toaster, kettle and egg steaming device. Tiny bar fridge. Utensils in a snap lock box as no drawer and no storage space to speak of. Given most people would bring their food and drink in, more thought needs to be given to this. We were told The Bunglaows are 100 percent solar powered so we understand the energy constraints. However, if power is an issue, how about having a large esky containing two bags of ice tucked away on the deck, so people can at least keep drinks cold? This would last for three days. Also, an outdoor built in bench and sink for food preparation (even with only cold water) would help. The small Weber barbecue is adequate but located in a very awkward position outside the front door. Perhaps it cannot be on the deck due to fire hazard because the deck is the obvious place. Also the bungalows are a distance from the parking spaces. Some kind of trolley would be useful to avoid multiple trips (We noticed other guests had brought their own trolley - not possible if you’re coming from another state, as we were). Having said that, it is a gorgeous location and environment and we loved our time there.

Beautiful position and the bungalow is very comfortable indeed, well designed to encourage air flow through cross vents. Falling asleep to the sound of the sea wonderful. The bed is ultra comfortable and the bathroom spacious with adequate bench space and two sinks. Each of the three bungalows are spaced well apart with screening foliage so very private. There is a sea view and the plunge pool is gorgeous. A delightful spot indeed.

Amazing location, it feels like having a private beach in front of the bungalow, which has great privacy. Good assortage of groceries at your disposal for a self-made breakfast: bread, eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereals, coffee & tea, milk, … really appreciate it as the bungalow is not walking distance to a supermarket

Cooking was limited with lack of BBQ tools, (which were supplied on request) and no container to use in the microwave, which we purchased. This was an issue as there is nowhere decent to eat in Mission Beach. The positioning of the BBQ made it difficult to access. The split system had no heating component so it was freezing, particularly on the 12C morning. No laundry facilities, which was annoying for a longer stay, but understandable in an off the grid property. We would have loved the pool to have been heated so we could use it.

Absolutely beautiful Bungalow, gorgeous setting right on beach, fabulous deck with a variety of seating options. The best beach ever, particularly for walking. A very relaxing five-day break. Breakfast hamper was excellent, generous quality supplies. Wonderful spacious bathroom with luxurious towels and toiletries. Excellent WIFI.

Cage eggs were used in the breakfast hamper. There were holes in the mosquito nets / screens so bugs got in, which was a bit annoying.

The accomodation was amazing. Beautifully designed and very comfortable, right on the beach. It was raining during our stay but we were very happy to spend our days lounging around inside. Loved the Comfy bed and couch plus the little tv with all the streaming apps. Overall our stay was awesome. Highly recommend.

Off season there are very few restaurants open so walking to one opus not really an option. Strongly suggest a car if you go off season. The location is great, next to beach, but know you are a bit isolated.

Beautiful bungalow just steps to the beach. Well crafted layout. Very clean with very small kitchenette. Fan above bed was nice.
