While the location is great, it is about a 5min drive to town for supermarket and food options or to get to the waterside

This was a wonderful B&B. The house was interesting and quirky (in an amazing way) but felt like a comfortable home (as opposed to an impersonal hotel). I would describe the decor and furnishings as blended English manor and cottage style. The room was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable and warm and the bathroom with the claw foot bath to die for. Everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Each room has an outside private entrance and a balcony to sit on. My room faced the ocean and provided a stunning view of sunset and sunrise over the water. Breakfast was a dairy free continental offering and included gluten free options. The host was so friendly and really made the stay feel welcoming. While I didn't need it, they are pet friendly. The location is out of town but so peaceful and quiet.

Lynne was a wonderful host. My room was perfect for me and my little dog. It was lovely to enjoy my complimentary breakfast each morning in the breakfast room overlooking Bass Strait. Thank you Lynne!

The location and the view mostly.

Our stay at the Goat & Goose was very comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. Our host Ling was very helpful and welcoming. We highly recommend staying there.

From my opinion, nothing. The whole experience was fantastic.

Well appointed and comfortable room with excellent view. Breakfast was a bonus, catering for most tastes. Breakfast room had a very warm atmosphere, with staff interacting with guests. Magnificent view from the breakfast room. Our dog was also made very welcome.

The person/s staying above us sounded like they were running around till 11pm you can hear other floors guests. Being an older place it creaks. Also the fairy lights outside shine into your room as cute as they look from the outside the flashing makes it hard to fall asleep.

The room was beautiful so cute. The spa bath was amazing . The view was beautiful and the common area is so cute to go sit and enjoy

Wonderful view of the ocean and shoreline, very charming old cottage-style room, spa bath was a great feature, as were the candles and incense. We were grateful that they allowed pets and the owner was very friendly.

The most beautiful and welcoming B&B, a little home away from home! Amazing location to Lakes Entrance, gorgeous breakfast with a view! We only stayed the one night stopping over after a long drive. Facilities had everything we could have needed. The host Ling was so lovely and gave us lots of suggestions for the local area!

This house is amazing and quirky. Quite unique. Purpose built as a B&B. Great communal breakfast and relaxing seating area with great ocean views. If you want to experience something quite magical then stay here. Lots of nooks and crannies to explore. The owner, Lynne is a lovely lady who is very welcoming.

Very kind staff, accommodating (we had a 6 mths old with us), very nice view on the ocean, we took the 2nd floor apt and its very big / comfortable. Quiet area. We wish we would have stayed an extra night. Thank you!
