Staying at the Lawson Riverside Suites felt luxurious. The rooms were grand and spacious, with lofty ceilings and an enormous bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it felt like a lot of attention had been paid to detail - from a special charcoal coloured makeup remover facecloth to a complimentary light breakfast (cereals, milk, fruit cups and fruit juice), windows that could open and shut and, when closed, seemed to completely block out any traffic noise, soft and clean carpets, smooth lifts to the first floor, and of course a very comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets. The Lawson Riverside Suites are ideally located, too. Despite feeling as if you are on the very outskirts of town (because the rooms are so quiet), you are in fact about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Wagga Wagga, the Art Gallery, and any number of excellent restaurants and cafes, and a very pleasant 15 minute walk from Wagga Beach and its surrounding park. All in all, this was by far the best hotel I've stayed in for quite a while, and at a very reasonable price.

The bed sunk through the evening. The light in the middle of the room is a very harsh white light and was painfully bright. And that's all everything else was lovely.

The room was a good space. Was a shame about the short showers but we understand water restrictions are out of the facility's control. The room was easy to access. Bed was comfortable. Aircon worked well. It was a beautiful stay and very central to all of our activities

Was a bit of a walk into the main street but not the end of the world, plenty of parking in town.

Location and ease of access for walking and driving to local tourist attractions. Large comfortable room with elegant wooden furniture that aesthetically ties a country-esque vibe to suit the location.

A few cracks in the walls and a bit of a smell, possibly from the floor waste but we did notice this around town too, so probably not something the hotel can do much about.

Our second stay at this property. Rooms are large with table and chairs, couch AND desk. Nice touch with a small breakfast pack especially as it was ANZAC Day next morning and very little open in town. Easy walk to the main street and access to the town walking track via a door on the property. Good shower pressure and large bathroom. Microwave and some basic cutlery/crockery if you want to reheat something to eat, otherwise there is a toaster and kettle.

The furniture in the room and on the balcony was a bit tired (except the bed which was great). I think it would be good to have a lift for getting bags up and down if staying on the first floor. Not knowing where to go to find my room on arrival was the only other small issue.

The room was large and well fitted out and the bed was comfortable. I particularly appreciated the kitchenette with the fridge and microwave which enabled me to heat my meals that I brought from home. The balcony overlooking the riverside provided a pleasant outlook I also liked the keypad entry on the door.
