It exceeded my expectations by far, if I could give it a higher rating I would. Everything very modernized, the room excellent, the location, EVERYTHING! In fact, I looked for more hotels from the same chain to stay when I have another trip.

repetitiveness of the breakfast

it was all really nice. ordering the breakfast from the same small menu everyday was maybe a little boring after the second or third time, but the food overall, the hotel itself and the rooms and the staff were really really nice :) we had a great time and miss it already

They changed rooms in between the stay for some maintenance and was a bit of inconvenience for my in laws as they are old. The bar is nice, but a couple of $ more for the same beer down the street.

Great location. Just a few minutes from the tram and queen Victoria building. Walkable to circular Quay and darling harbor. It's just a perfect spot. The room was clean and friendly staff.

No view to speak of which was disappointing, but given the location there is really no view to be had.

The a la carte breakfast was good. You can have a $40pp breakfast if you like. Very central and handy to walk around the CBD

Room could do with more hooks in the entrance for coats (was raining) and in the bathroom. Found the dining onsite a bit overpriced and the change ofmenu at 11am to be problematic. On a Saturday looking for late breakfast a la carte and nothing was appealing on the lunch/evening menu to meet that need so went elsewhere. Spice bar advertised some form of happy hour, but the menu didnt present that. had a $25 cocktail that had an additional weekend service charge added on. Dissapointing. Surcharges generally, booked online but then paid further surcharges on top of online price. Think that is deceitful

room was spacious, well appointed, modern and good use of tech. Reception was friendly and helpful. Used an umbrella during the stay which was useful. $20 Environment credit a good inititive. Did not need room servicing for a weekend stay.

Location was fantastic. We flew in and took the train to museum station which was just a block away from hotel. The rooms were beautiful everything worked well. It was a very nice reception and designed in a personal way.

the bathroom layout. there was no privacy and no hook in the shower unit to hang a towel or robe. because of the no privacy we didn't have a shower there, we travelled home to have one. I don't know what people would do if they were staying there with a friend or on a business trip and sharing a room with a business colleague.

For the first room the in-house system didntnwork I.e lights, tv and so on so had to change rooms. Limit control panels I.e not one in the bathroom, and they don't illuminate at night.

Would be great to have drinking water/ mini bar or room service as it is a little bit far from food after working hours.

My third time staying here for work. Boutique but very grand and high-end, very value-for-money with this price and location and very silent environment, especially for business travellers. Staff is nice, room is clean with good smell. Basically I like staying here and can sleep very well.

Service for breakfast on our second day was very slow - but the wait staff did try to accommodate us with a packed breakfast when we ran out of time to stay for our cooked breakfast as planned.

Well decorated, very clean and very comfortable room. Comfiest bed and pillows ever. Special mention to the very efficient French receptionist who checked us in in no time (didn't catch her name!)

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Oxford Street, Town Hall, Circular Key etc is all either walking distance or jump on the monorail.
