Room in desperate need for upgrade, room was cold air con didn't work very well. Could hardly move in the shower. Electric blanket didn't wok. Also needed a boat on the carparkt are.

The bathroom was a little outdated and there was no cold water in the shower though I’d prefer that than no hot water. Air conditioner was noisy.

Room and facilities could best be described as "tired", in need of repairs and a good coat of paint. Notably my "double bed" was two single beds placed together. Bed was comfortable until you rolled over the join between the two mattress edges in the middle of the bed. There were many sites of chipped paint, even simple handle missing off bedside table drawer. Damage to walls that could easily be repaired. When I arrived, I spent 20 minutes mopping up a flood on the floor - someone had switched off the fridge onto defrost and a large puddle was spreading across the floor. Yes, I could have asked the proprietor to mop it up, but it was easier to do it myself.

Staff member was friendly and helpful, though didn't always understand English well. Helpfully replaced plenty of milk for tea / coffee, and water. Room was sufficiently quiet, and I liked the carpark area under the shady leafy pergola on a hot day - though it was Autumn and many leaves were dropping on my car - though it was no problem to brush them off OK. Pleasant 15 - 20 minute walk into the centre of town.

We booked for breakfast & come morning we were embarrassed that they were not prepared for us & we would gladly have just not have them rush to try to serve us as they have a small family & were trying to organise them for school etc. The office was not clean and tidy or run professionally. The “breakfast” room needs to be completely made over as it would be quite good for people who only want a continental breakfast. This is not said with malice as the couple obviously want to do the right thing but, this standard is not good enough today. Accommodation where the whole property is neat, tidy & professionally run does not have to be expensive. Australians, especially retirees, do ask fellow travellers where to stay and this can be so important.

Good room, but air conditioning very old and unhealthy, needs upgrade. Got sore throat and coughing after first night, doctors visit, respiratory infection, missed wine tour, too sick and still very unwell.

I really did not appreciate a rooster crowing right out back of my room from 3:17am every 10 - 15 minutes up until daylight on my first night... & then from 4:00am etc... on my second night! I was also not happy with the shower curtain sticking to my body as I showered in the very small shower facilities.

I liked that my car was parked right out front of my motel room door, I also liked the electric blanket.
