One reason for choosing this accommodation was it advertised satellite tv and breakfast included. There was no Satellite tv the first night we had only ABC and SBS we contacted the owner and was told no satellite tv and the next day the tv was replaced and all normal channels were available.Adverting breakfast included you would think that would include a cooked breakfast no that which was provided

Breakfast was very ordinary consisted of bag of cereals, bottle of milk, two slices of bread and a small container of fruit all left in the room. P

In the heat, the grounds were struggling to survive. Not their fault.

Location. Quiet until a rowdy group came in on the last night. Close to town.

The pillows were hard and lumpy (and even though we were brought some extras, they weren't a lot better). On previous visits (in different rooms) I'd found the bed and pillows to be quite good, so this was disappointing. Also I really wanted a little table next to the sofa/armchair or a coffee table in front of the sofa to allow me to enjoy a cuppa in front of the telly. It seemed odd that this basic item was missing.

Very pleasant location, spacious, well maintained accommodation, and very kind helpful management.

Entry & exit is a bit unusual, need a car to get into town 5 minutes or it's a long walk 20 to 30 min.

Breakfast cereal, spreads & bread for toast supplied. Kitchen was ok, room was huge and balcony outside with great views to the river and bush/flora, balcony is adjoined with other units. Seemed to have some privacy from the balcony with curtains. Nice rural surrounds.

    Can't think of anything.

Rustic, relaxed feel. Stunning location overlooking the river, and lovely gardens. Room has everything you need, and we'll maintained. Great value for money. Friendly hosts. We were there in really hot weather and the reverse cycle air con did it's job really well. (Imagine it's just as effective at keeping it warm in winter.

We had a couple of issues with maintenance - 1. the bathroom sink plug would not disengage (fixed the next day when we reported it); 2. if he bathroom door snib lock was turned, and then you exited the bathroom and closed the door, it locked and could not be unlocked from outside.

Location was terrific, overlooking the Blackwood river. The room was very spacious and well-equipped. Breakfasts were well thought-out and plentiful. The bird-feeders near the front window were a nice touch (with seed set out each late afternoon.

We did have a minor insect invasion that we dealt with and the hosts replaced our linen immediately and this was followed up with a lovely bottle of wine.

The lodge was very close to the river and town. The garden was beautiful and bird life was lovely.

We had no major concerns with our stay. The room was a little bit old in terms of amenities but that is fairly standard for this sort of accommodation and it was part of the charm. Any concerns would be nitpicking.

Great location close to town and easy to navigate around the South West. The accommodation was cozy and it was lovely having birds and nature so right on your doorstep. The owner was friendly and overall our experience was very positive.

There was a problem with payment, so when I was out, the owner simply unlocked the door and came into the room when my wife was resting on the bed. This freaked her out and made her very uncomfortable. He didn't even knock before entering the room to be alone with my wife. Management need to work on the assumption that someone may be in room and need to knock / check before simply unlocking doors.

Loved the location. The idea of feeding and attracting birds at the end of the day was marvelous. Facilities were good and allowed for a level of self catering if required. Beds were comfortable. Reverse cycle aircon was appreciated.

The property was advertised as self-contained which is a bit misleading as the kitchenette does not have cooking facilities. We took meals with us to cook and were unable to do so. Besides a toaster, there is a microwave for reheating food only.

The reverse cycle heating was great because Bridgetown is freezing in the winter. The bed was very comfortable which is a must.

The crockery and cutlery available was a bit sparse. One or two larger-sized serving bowls and a platter or two would be most welcome additions. That said, basic needs were met.

Spacious feel, uncluttered, tasteful decor. Fairly basic breakfast, but certainly there was choice, along with generous quantities. And it was so nice to have fresh milk, and real butter :)

The Lodge was just a tad too far to walk into town especially as the weather this long weekend was not the best.

Quiet spot, just out of town overlooking the river. Rooms were comfortable. Check in was easy even though we were late to the property.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like, the only small thing was the sliding doors were really hard to open, could have done with some glider spray on them. Apart from that, perfect place for a relaxing holiday, we would definitely go there again.

beautiful location, lovely gardens at back of property. Bird feeding each day, which was so nice to see.

Garden was a little run down. Would be beautiful if it had a bit of time spent on it to tidy it up. Unable to walk down to the river as the steps were not usable.

Breakfast provided was very good. Fresh chocolate muffins on the table when we arrived! Garden with birdfeeders - watching the beautiful birds was lovely. Room was quite big.
