Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe bed was uncomfortable as it was two beds pushed together. The shower was difficult to get the water right and very slippery! We found the non slip mat in the wardrobe at the end of our stay.
Our room was large and had good views from the balcony. The staff at the front desk and in the bar were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks from the back bar were great.

AustraliaCups in room weren’t clean. You could see lipstick stains and marks still on them. When I tried to call reception and room service multiple times, no one answered and this was at midday. We also purchased parking that stops at 10am but check out isn’t until 11am. There was no mention of parking ending sooner than check out so we had to pay an additional fee.
Originally got a twin room or king bed river room. When we got there, they wanted to give us king but my friend was sick so requested a twin. They kindly gave us a twin facing ocean as this was the only one available.

United KingdomHad not been cleaned under the bed, however it was immediately attended to once I had made the management aware. The USB by my bedside was broken; however again the maintenance man provided me with an adapter. Also when we first arrived we couldn't find a safe. I queried thus and was told there was one there. After a lot of tooing ang froing the staff realised the safe was not there but again the maintenance guy Paul was very helpful installing one for us.
The pool very pleasant. Breakfast not too bad. Room location good, and a nice size..
