The tea/coffee bar in our room had not been fully restocked. This is minor and easily rectified, but you should not have to ask for it to be done. Checkout is 11am, which is great. However, the breakfast finishes at 10 am. So if you take advantage of checkout time for a sleep in, you miss breakfast. Luckily, there is a great restaurant next door (Surfers Pavilion) where we were able to have a leisurely and delicious breakfast. There is no free parking on site.

The room was better than the average size. We had a king-size bed that was very comfortable. The pillows were very comfortable, too. The bar and deck by the pool are a great spot to relax. Check out is 11, which is great. There is more that is good than bad about this hotel. The comfy bed, location and great restaurant next door are all reasons why we would book this hotel again.

The property is definitely in need of some renovations. The room was fairly noisy, understandable its on the main road however some renovations and upgrades of the balcony windows/ doors would go a long way towards reducing the noise. Bathroom could need renovations as you can clearly see mould silicon.. Light la have been replaced but no repairs to ceiling so looks quite tatty

Loved the outdoor pool and bar area it’s very beautiful. For $25 they have a buffet breakfast which is great value for money and great food.

Room service/restaurant food was pretty average. Staff were rude on phone when I tried to call for room service. Internet was unusable and TV was basically pointless, casting system was bad.

The view was amazing, the location by the river is great. The outdoor pool and seating area was lovely and very comfy. The staff was fine. Bathroom is small and old but still worked great. Balcony door and windows were sound proofed, was super quiet when door was closed which was great at night. The kitchenette was very convenient we appreciated that.

We opted for a large double, however, we realised it was just two single beds pushed together which made the bed a bit uncomfortable. Every time someone slept in the middle, you would just slide into the middle space, which we did not like. Everything else was really good.

We booked this place last minute but for the price we paid, the location and standard of the room and hotel was great. Definitely recommend it to everyone! We booked our room with the river view so it was absolutely beautiful at night and in the morning.

There was a kettle to make coffee but we did not have a toaster to have toast with my coffee no microwave as well if I wanted to heat a snack up or hot milk up for a cappuccino coffee (nescafe coffee sachet) The shower was old fashioned you had to run the bath water and then press a button on the outlet where water was coming out so the shower will work the bath water runs aswell while you're having a shower which is very weird, at first we did not know how to work it as the bath water was only running. We had to ask at service desk to how to use it

The bed was uncomfortable as it was two beds pushed together. The shower was difficult to get the water right and very slippery! We found the non slip mat in the wardrobe at the end of our stay.

Our room was large and had good views from the balcony. The staff at the front desk and in the bar were friendly and helpful. The food and drinks from the back bar were great.

Aircon very noisy, beds not very comfortable but our biggest issue was the noise from outside it woke us a few times during the night. The noise was from traffic particularly motorbikes.

We were on the 18th floor. The airvents because of the wind caused a lot of noise at night.

The view and the whole apartment was great. The staff out the front were really lovely and helpful.

Cups in room weren’t clean. You could see lipstick stains and marks still on them. When I tried to call reception and room service multiple times, no one answered and this was at midday. We also purchased parking that stops at 10am but check out isn’t until 11am. There was no mention of parking ending sooner than check out so we had to pay an additional fee.

Originally got a twin room or king bed river room. When we got there, they wanted to give us king but my friend was sick so requested a twin. They kindly gave us a twin facing ocean as this was the only one available.

We pulled back the sheets and the inner blanket had poop rubbed on it. Was disgusting. The sheets on the inside near feet area was also dirty so no clean fresh changed sheets between changing guests very unhygienic

Paying for parking is always frustrating, and the air con in the rooms did not really get cold. Other than that we couldn’t fault our stay!

The view was amazing, and the location was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and the food/drinks were delicious! We would definitely stay again!
