There weren't really any natural scrub areas to go hiking on the farm.

It was peaceful and yet close to Middleton, Goolwa & Port Elliott. I found the information folder useful.

Cottage was comfortable but in need of an update. The BBQ was located some distance away from the cottage. However the BBQ was shared between both Cottages.

The location of the property was close to a nearby town. We met the co-owner of the farm and she explained about the farm. The co-owner also allowed us to explore the farm. We did see kangaroos the following morning. The Cottage was very quiet.

If I had one criticism, it would be the distance of the cottages being too close to each other.

Warm, homely, and peaceful location. Well stocked kitchen. Surrounding and viewing the stars is amazing. Welcoming owners.

The bed rolled all over the place as it was on wheels and the shower head pressure was very hard.

I loved the fresh eggs provided and the electric blanket was perfect as it warms up quicker than adding blankets

It was just what we needed. No complaints!

This was a tranquil, quiet and 'well-needed' relaxing break with a beautiful outlook of the fields, dam and majestic huge gum trees. The kangaroos, cows and birds added interest. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean. The bar of Toblerone and sweets was a generous touch which was a nice surprise. There was plenty to do in nearby Middleton, Pt Elliot, and Victor Harbor and the Middleton Tavern had many interesting historical features and a cosy warm fire. An early morning walk up the dirt road further emphasised the beauty of the area. The bonus of being in the country as well as near the beach was great! Thank you, we hope to be back one day.

A dimmer switch on the main room light would be a good idea please.

A lovely location on the farm overlooking the green paddocks with beautiful gum trees; only a short drive to Port Elliott, Goolwa and other towns in the district. The coast line around that area is superb and very enticing.

Wendy and Tony were down to earth friendly and very helpful hosts, couldn't wish for better. Every thing in the cottage was spotless. Workable kitchen with plenty of plates, utensils etc. Well equipped bathroom. Cottage had a covered verandah with a pleasant outlook over the eucalyptus trees in the paddocks. Very quiet, peaceful and secure, yet only 5 minutes to the town of Middleton with a very popular pub for good quality meals.

Ive thought about this. What about other seasons? No. Whats not to like? What a great spot ive just found after decades of South Coast visits!

Beautiful. so tranquil. Quietly observing the ancient kangaroo world, a little trio of goats crossing the road, a chestnut horse, birdsong and beach only minutes away!. Hosts Tony & Wendy's Wenton Farm Cottages ensure the perfect holiday. Immaculately clean, super comfortable. Ideally furnished. Theyve thought of everything. Our 3 days was as restful as a week. Cant wait to come back!

Comfortable, compact and with a lovely view from every window. Host was very friendly and made sure that checking in went smoothly. The BBQ was clean and under cover, which was great because it rained! Enjoyed watching the kangaroos as we ate breakfast and listening to the kookaburras. Bathroom was clean, with plenty of towels. A folder of local information was also well prepared and helpful. A night light in the lounge was thoughtful as there was no other ambient light at night. The chocolates, fresh eggs and mints were a nice touch.

Quilts on beds are a bit old fashioned and ours kept slipping off during the night - just a minor detail. Kitchen blind could be replaced as quite dirty.

A peaceful relaxing stay. Lots of kangaroos to watch in the evening. A lovely surprise of farm eggs in the fridge and a chocolate to enjoy.
