Helen and Ian went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and to support us in relaxing and making the most of our visit. They had thought of everything. Lots of thoughtful little touches. The breakfasts and shared facilities were fabulous and the outdoor space a wonderful haven.

Outstanding place to stay. Brilliantly designed and equipped- including a truly remarkable, generous breakfast each day. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. Would highly recommend Wilmots as the best place to stay in Alice Springs.

The accommodation is perfect. Ian & Helen could not have been better hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The place is gleaming clean. The pool is so welcoming after a long day sightseeing in the wonderful McDonnell Ranges. AND - The provisions that are laid out for guests to prepare their breakfast, Oh my word!

Ian and Helen are very kind hosts, who give you all the privacy you need, but are there when you need them. Everything is very well maintained, and the house is very well equipped, allmost everything is thought of. Helen also has an eye for detail and does her very best to make it feel like a cosy home for the guests. Breakfast is also really nice with a lot of fresh ingrediënts, and amazing homemade muffins. When you are in the backyard, you have a big chance of spotting a kangaroo or other animals coming for a drink right outside the fence. If we ever visit Alice Springs again, we will definitely come back to this place!

Well organised and presented sumptuous breakfast with outstanding hospitality from the hosts. Both of them were fantastic. We have no complaints but all compliments.

Not the same privacy as a hotel room ie shared common areas and owners on site but if you're happy with travelling company and like a brekky ready for you it won't be a problem. And there are different areas to hang. And the owners were very helpful without being intrusive.

Well set out, very pretty amenities with separate areas to hang. Hosts were very accommodating. Very secure premises. We left early so didn't experience the prepared breakfast but it looked substantial.

Three main issues was the noise, the light in the room, and the mattress. I would honestly only stay here if you are an early riser and not a fussy sleeper. Unfortunately the kitchen was very noisy in the mornings...you could hear everyone talking and feel all the doors banging from your room. You need to specify if you don't want breakfast the day before...otherwise they will come and wake you up knocking and yelling through your door that breakfast is ready. I understand the owners have the best of intentions but it's not something that we have ever experienced before. Unfortunately in our room there were two small windows above the bed that can't be covered so it's very bright when the sun comes up. However there are eye masks provided. Unfortunately the mattress in our huge upstairs room was dated, old and unsupportive. The place was so superbly magical in every way so the uncomfortable bed was such a letdown...I got no sleep😔 But the owners are so extraordinary lovely, kind and generous, and you can see all the effort they have put into everything else...so I simply couldn't bring myself to tell them the truth!!!🥺

Everything was so incredibly gorgeous at this property it would take too long to write it all down! Magical. Literally a desert paradise.

We had the room on the street side for 2 nights and then one on the garden side for 1 night. Although not much traffic in this quiet neighborhood, the street side room is a bit noisy.

Helen and Ian are great hosts. They created a little oasis with a small pool and several terraces. Very helpful and responsive to their guests' needs.

Ian and Helen were excellent hosts, providing us with all the information we needed and answering questions before we arrived and Ian was very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately with a tour of the house and facilities available to us. Our room was very comfortable consisting of the bedroom, another room with sofa and desk which was very handy and the bathroom. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was amazing with many options to choose from like coffee, tea, juice, meusli, fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, bacon, eggs, tomatoes for cooking and much more, and to top it off Ian and Helen were there to look after things as well as have a chat and offer helpful local information for our trip. We really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't hesitate to come again and highly recommend it to others.

Friendly and informative hosts. Very homely. Few areas where guests can hang out and enjoy a bit of privacy to ourselves despite there are other guests (full house) at the accommodation. Definite recommended place to stay in The Alice. Siti & June Mid Oct 2023

I LOVED EVERYTHING

Helen and Ian are just the most accommodating hosts even down to bring out a small throw rug to use while we sat out side near the pool after our BBQ. The room was spacious and we had our own sitting room and large balcony. The Breakfast that was provided every morning was nothing short of amazing. Helen makes the most delicious muffins which are very hard to go past in the morning with a coffee or tea. The property is amazing and in a great location. Thanks for a wonderful stay Helen and Ian
