We felt welcomed from the moment that we arrived. Our family stayed in two rooms - the Studio and the Retreat. Both rooms were clean, spacious, very comfortable and well provisioned with lots of breakfast supplies. Wine and Roses B&B is well located, just a short drive from McLaren Vale wineries, and 45-minute drive into Adelaide.

Bathroom set up was a bit unusual....but immaculately clean with plenty of thirsty, fluffy towels

The retreat room was up some stairs not a problem for us but might be unsuitable for someone who finds stairs a problem, also had a little difficulty with the keys but it was sorted very quickly

We stayed in the retreat room which was a lovely spacious room with everything that we needed, there was a good variety of food items to do your own breakfast, a bbq is available on the balcony to cook a hot breakfast if u wish.

The stairs. Having to carry luggage up outdoor stairs was difficult. We were expecting accommodation something similar to the photograph shown in the advertising.

The breakfast supplied was amazing with everything you needed. The extra touches like chocolates and port was a surprise and of course the spa bath is the perfect relaxation everyone needs at the end of the day.

Nothing, it was perfect!

The owner went above and beyond! we were amazed by the breakfast and the extra details in this accommodation, Ing candles around the spa, a bottle of port above the fireplace. We were just blown away.

We actually didn't meet the hosts, it was an easy self check in/out but I'm sure they were nice :) We stayed in the Retreat room which was really large, huge comfy bed, large bathroom and balcony with BBQ to cook breakfast. There was a great selection of breakfast items, full fridge and coffee machine. Very quiet room and location. Off-street parking but also plenty of parking on one of two quiet streets.

Inside cooking facilities for the supplied breakfast would have been good. With only the Weber on the balcony it was a challenge with the terrible weather.

The amount and variety of breakfast items supplied was amazing. My dietary requirements were catered for extremely well. The Retreat was a very comfortable place to stay. It was a great location. We walked into McLaren Vale several times as only a 5 minute walk.

the Cottage was beautiful, not sure I could think of anything else that was needed, maybe a couple of chairs for outside, as opposed to the benches only....for relaxing in/reading outdoors...

Lovely place to stay. They provided items for breakfast for both days - it felt like more than what it was but they could have been the presentation that helped too. Great place to base myself . Is marketed to couples and would absolutely suite them. information folder was amazing and helped quite a bit. Self check in was strange at first but worked quite well.
