Parking is very expensive. Hotel vuests should receive a signoficant discount. No phone in the room. The dots on the window. The shower is not enclosed and water splashes everywhere

this was the most we paid for parking in Norway and it seems to us that it is ridiculous that the hotel does not have some sort of deal with the car park for guests during the stay

the room was a very good size and we received an upgrade, which was nice breakfast was the best we had in our 11 days in Norway the bar area was very nice

It would be better to open breakfast hours at 6:30 instead than at 7 o’clock

It is a personal matter, but for me, the bed was uncomfortable and it was not possible to open a window in the bedroom / turn off the air conditioning.

Very convenient location with regard to the main railway station, island ferry terminal and congress. The town centre is only a ten minute walk away. The selection and quality of the breakfast is good.

On the day we arrived early in the morning, the front desk lady on duty gave me a smirking face when I approached. I did understand there's no way we can check in that early. We just come in to ask for luggage storage. Maybe I got the luggage room direction wrong, sure this lady should have noticed me heading the wrong way but haven't calling me back. And when I got back and asked again, she replied impatiently.

The view to the harbour and yachts is nice. Room is comfortable and spacious as compared to other hotels in Norway at similar price level. The best part is the breakfast buffet. Wide choices of quality food and drinks that need to be there early to take time to enjoy. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.

The housekeeping and reception personnel - congratulations. Also restaurant breakfast personnel. The buffet is amazing: most complete - fresh - full of options. Also we left at 6 am and we did not leave with an empty stomach!

The bed was comfortable, the room had a beautiful view over the harbour. The ventilation in the bathroom was great. The breakfast was very varied, probably the best I had in Norway. The room had great sound insulation, no noises from neighbouring rooms.

Very friendly personal at reception, they always helped me with different question. Nice location close near railway station, which makes getting from airport simple. Very good breakfast.

The parking arrangements you would have thought a brand such as Clarion would have brokered a deal for parking its not so difficult but still!

Just one thing I missed and that was more light in the room. I had to work in the evening and the light being dimmed where the desk is made it a bit hard to see the text I was reading.

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. Everything was really nice - the food, receptionists, the whole stuff was amazing. The room I stayed in was a single-room and was spacious enough and super clean.

Well if you told me beforehand that the skybar is closed on the 2 nights of my stay, I would honestly have chosen a hotel in the city center and not at the harbor.

Good amenities, very nice staff at reception, breakfast and everything else. Outstanding breakfast with a huge variety, thanks for cappucino with oat milk :)

The room could do with a little more lighting — even with an added lamp it was quite dark.

We had a wonderful stay at Clarion Hotel Trondheim. The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating, the breakfast buffet is enormously generous and all delicious. Great bar and restaurant, comfortable room and an excellent location for exploring. Highly recommend.

Parking costs 320NOK per day which is way too expensive and makes the whole deal of staying in this hotel much less attractive. Would be nice if the hotel offered some discount at least. The original room I was given was not properly cleaned, I found used Corona rapid test kit in the bathroom trash bin. Asked to change the room and got upgraded to a bigger nicer room which was also clean. So, the staff handled the situation well, but still, such things shouldn't happen. The hotel should take proper cleaning of the rooms more seriously. Although the cantina offered really good selection for breakfast, I found food a bit tasteless and plain. Still, it'll definitely get you going for the day.

The hotel has a nice location, not exactly the city center but very close to it. Quiet area without any noise from traffic and bars. Good breakfast with rich selection. Convenient underground parking. It was warm in the my room.

We booked the Deluxe room and expected a bathtub as shown on the pictures, but didn't get one.
