Minor grumble only - receptionist checked us in then handed me over to a colleague who told me all the highlights and features of the hotel from a handout. Then gave me the handout which she underlined these points all over the page. Really should give a clean, non-marked page to guests, or use a highlighter if they want to feature certain points

The television in the lounge room is very difficult to use. We were unable to use it in the end despite having a tech savvy person with me.

I like the kitchen and laundry facilities. Allows you to pack less with you. The rooms are well air conditioned and easy controls to adjust to your liking. Big bed, comfortable lounge room.

One thing that could be improved was the sliding glass door in the bedroom of room 1608 doesn’t latch properly therefore it doesn’t lock. Even though the door is heavy, if you give it a jolt to check it’s locked, it slides right open. Also the door to room doesn’t latch properly either and you have to lift the handle so it locks properly. Minor issues but could be a larger issue if it was a woman travelling alone. Apart from this, absolutely amazing, thank you!

The room wasn't furnished as expected from the photos in the booking listing. At least for this room we were allocated, there should be some improvements to the fixtures and furnishings as it is dated and appears unclean (see photos). I also found the pumps of soap, shampoo and conditioner unpleasant with an overpowering fragrance, and would suggest something more subtle/gentle for guests to enjoy.

The hotel staff were friendly and the location of the hotel is excellent, with a tram stop directly out the front and a short walk from restaurants, shops and the beach. The room was very spacious with all the amenities needed to self cater within the room ie. fully functioning kitchen and laundry facilities.

On our last visit we had a corner unit facing south. We had amazing views on two sides of the apartment . Our unit for this visit had a less impressive view but was still much appreciated. The hotel wifi did not work for us.

The units are spacious and well resourced. They are immaculately clean. The bed was comfortable. Units are well insulated so there is no noise from other guests. Parking is very secure. The staff are always pleasant and efficient.

No down side

Clean, light room. Very comfortable large bed. Kitchenette very handy. On-site parking easy to access. Close to a few excellent restaurants. Near tram stop.

The room that we were in was not very clean. The refrigerator was making noise constantly. The room was missing the sheer curtain.

The location of the property was ideal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The secure parking was also a bonus.

The bed is too plush tough. The ensuite in master bedroom is a bit too small. I was told at the reception that room is newly renovated but I am not able to tell what's the difference. It could be some floors renovated but some hasn't been.

The lounge room is spacious with ocean view. Great for family. The location is great. There is a few cafe and supermarkets nearby. There is also a tram stop right next to the building. Tram comes very frequently.

The bed was a little to hard for my taste but that is a personal preference.

The room was on the 10th floor so I had a great city view, also a great sea view as I got out the lift. The room/apartment had plenty of space to spread out.
