Lovely accommodation but property description is extremely misleading
    • Leisure trip
    • Couple
    • Two-Bedroom Chalet
    • Stayed 3 nights

The property description is extremely misleading as each chalet is actually 'semi-detached' to another - the description reads as if the chalets are 'stand-alone'. Our chalet (16A) also had a connecting door so that both chalets could be booked by the same person. We really don't like connecting doors as we find them quite unsettling, plus we could hear each other through the door and just generally throughout the chalet. We felt like we had to be super quiet so as not to annoy the other chalet. We were lucky that we had good and respectful neighbours whilst we were there but we could still hear them very clearly as they moved around. It would be terrible if the neighbours were not so respectful! What's also very strange is that as people move around the chalets, the chalets actually sway as they're on stilts! Unfortunately, we wouldn't book again because of the above, which is a real shame as the accommodation itself is really lovely :( This accommodation would be perfect for large families, 2 families or a group of friends, in terms of booking both sides of a chalet.

We had chalet 16A. It was extremely well-presented, well-furnished and spotlessly clean. Very peaceful location. Great shower, comfortable beds and lounge. Nice outlook over the trees when sitting on the verandah (and also from inside too!). Nice shampoo and conditioner, soaps etc all provided. Plenty of crockery, glassware and cookware.

Location is fantastic, in the middle of the National Park, 3 km from Canal Rocks and Aquarium, 5 from Yallingup. Very peaceful, very spacious rooms and living room, great WiFi, washing machine, everything provided to make a lunch or dinner. Had to leave a day early because an injury, they called me to make sure i'm ok and offered a free night when i come back, which i sure will do!

The staff were incredible and accomodating. My family came down with gastro the day before our stay and would not have been able to make the trip. They agreed to reschedule for no cost (despite being under no obligation and the late notice). This took away a significant stressor for us.

We were lucky that for the majority of our trip there was no one next door. However, when there were people it was incredibly noisy, it sounded like the sound from any movement was magnified and the house shook as people walked. The request to take your own rubbish to the front of the resort and the overflowing rubbish at that location was off putting.

Chalet was fantastic, very clean, beautiful amongst the trees, great facilities

Water pressure in the shower but suspect it is possibly a result of the location.

Beautiful, secluded and peaceful. Comfy beds. Enjoyed access to bathroom amenities like body wash, shampoo etc. as it meant less to pack.

Just a small thing! The way the kitchen drawers were organised. Batteries and light bulb should be out of children's reach just in case they do roam in draws! My almost 2 year old found them very quick! But once we moved them up above, all was good.

Loved the space, clean and private. Beautiful location, definitely will be back!

An internal recycling bin would’ve been great to feed the larger bin on site. We made it work, just a bit tedious taking it daily in the car..

We expected to get a chalet to ourselves and not to have one adjoining another. The photos are very misleading, and there is no sound proofing between the rooms as it is just a thin wall . In summer it is extremely hot at nights and very uncomfortable even with all the windows and fans on. It's a lot cooler outside I think there needs to be better ventilation or air conditioning.

Amazing location , loved the bush setting and playground and pool. Wifi is great as well , and it's a comfortable place to stay . It was very quiet when we were there as well, and loved all the birds.

Kookaburras and magpies looked pretty dangerous sitting on the terrace's railings - I didn't want my daughter to walk outdoors alone.

I travelled with my family including my toddler kid, so we did like the facilities: the playground, swimming pool and the tennis court. The location was also good - easy to get to Dunsborough and multiple wineries. Value for money I'd say.
