Not a downside for me, but bear in mind they are right in the heart of the city. You might hear noises from the bars/streets/

Perfect location, in the heart of the city. The main attraction Crocosaurus Cove is literally across the street. At least 4 great bars/pubs around the place, with amazing food, drinks and music. 10min walk to the waterfront (or just take a scooter). Very helpful staff, loved all of them. They are there to help, no matter what. They even got us the room before the check in time which was an amazing plus. I definetely would stay again.

I didn't like that it wasn't so clean. Bathrooms weren't clean. Showers were not clean at any time of the day, but toilets did get clean in the morning. Also, because of the location (bars all around the hostel) there is a lot of noise, so it is hard to fall asleep. Also, the aircon in the room was very weak, so my room was really hot.

it served its purpose of providing me with a place to stay for two nights that was central to every location I wanted to go to.

The aircon was somewhat limited - it was on and better than the heat outside, but I'd call it more of a fan. Cleanliness was also lacking (the pool had pasta in it for a few days), and my food got stolen out of the fridge because there was no space to store it. Was a little sad that the common areas closed at 10pm, so had nowhere to hang (quietly) with friends before bed.

Fantastic place to meet people - lots of nightly events, but staff were also very respectful of those trying to sleep. Very much a party hostel, but the party was moved off-site at 10pm every night to help guests sleep. You get what you pay for in terms of value for money, but as far as hostels go this was pretty good! A quick tip I wish I had known - this place huge on Sunday parties, and everyone from other hostels join in too! Wish I hadn't planned on that being my early night.

Party hostel. Quite noisy due to being located right above a pub. Very basic breakfast. No cutlery/ plates provided.

No hot showers all week. No hot water Broken tap and really stuck shower door in mens toilet on 1st floor.

Good beds and rooms. Partys everynight. Great pool and sun baking area. Close to everything. Night zones and Coles shops. Hire scooters to back

Receptionists could be a bit more friendly and focus on the guest requests. Dryer not dry properly, dont waste $4 on it (told to reception that need cleaning and / or maintenance but no answer). AC in room was a bit noisy, bit old.

The style of the hostel and the facilites. The pool is amazing. It is a party hostel just FYI so they are always doing activities and drinking games if you are on this mood if not choose another place :) Really good beer and drink prices.

The bed in the bunkbeds is not the best..

Loved loved loved that it has a study room with computers, table, sofa and printer with paper to do any business and study work, ofcourse - with aircon, located in level 3. In level 2, they have a massive screen tv room its pretty cool! I like how the room has a small sink and mirror in the corner..location excellent ! No noise came into the room from outside.

Barely any toilet paper each day? Broken doors, lack of power points, loud music drifting into rooms until approx midnight, dirty and barely clean bathrooms and rooms, small rooms

- One of the two faucets in the shared toilet was out of service on the males’ floor so dudes had to wait in line. - loud air con could be disturbing (especially when it is right beside your bunk)

- Great location. Located in city center, close to different bars, Coles and beach view. (HOWEVER, it could also means loud pub music after 11). Would suggest bring your own ear plugs. - Room/balcony/kitchen/other facilities were generally clean. - Reception girls are nice and helpful
