The kitchen area downstairs was consistently unclean with take out rubbish and various other rubbish. Was not inviting at all to sit. The overall vibe of the common areas felt very much like a hostel. Not very clean and tidy.

Obvious spots in the bathroom were not cleaned. No sink in the rooms so you need to get any water from the bathroom sink. No cutlery or basics provided. Just some glasses and mugs.

Rooms were a bit small for our liking. Sound proofing wasn’t very good so you could hear the peoples conversations next door. A bit pricey for what you get.

How clean it was, the super friendly staff and the facilities downstairs - pool table, chill room etc. I like how easy it was to go to the dry room too.

Paying about $1,000 a night was excessive, but in keeping with the excessive snow prices at other accommodation venues. It was competitive in the market place of the snowfields. The rooms could have been improved with a toaster and a quality jug. The room was small with two bunk beds and kitchenette, although master bedroom was good.

The manager and owner were extremely friendly, inviting and very obliging. They were present and open to suggestions about minor improvements. I thought the recreational room was good.

Drying room space was a premium especially after a wet-ish day on the hill. Given that the kitchen wasn't available when we actually needed it, would have been nice to have a toaster or some bowls in the room. Cost of very basic 4-bunk room was approx the price of a King Suite at the Sydney Intercontinental Hotel, so not exactly budget accommodation, but given it's Jindabyne and mid-winter it's probably the best one can hope for.

Access to the slopes requires leaving extremely early on weekends (6:30am at the latest) so a bit disappointed that breakfast wasn't available until 6.45am. Room was clean and tidy, and the 24-hrs checkin process was excellent. Staff were brilliant - helpful and friendly.

While the bathroom was generally clean, the shower grout was covered in mould. There was no hand towel provided. The room was very small.

Comfy bed. Great view from my window. Facilities provided were adequate. Parking was easy. The room was warm. Check in was easy and efficient.

the price! $800 per night is way too much for a shoe box with a crappy mattress, crappy pillows, crappy sheets and a door that didn’t shut and lock properly. just too expensive for what it was, no matter how good the location was!

The food in the facility was a bit lacking, not much choice. Feels more like a dorm, than a hotel. The garbage collection and bed making was done once every three days which wasn't that good. I would have thought that need to be done on a daily basis as I travel with kids.

The location was convenient, the room was clean, and it has microwaves in the room which makes heating food really convenient. The staff was good. The check in and check out process was automatic which was really convenient.

very small room, double bed was pretty hard, no table in room, breakfast only for $15 extra provided, lacked atmosphere/culture but was still pleasant enough. Having been here in the past when run by Germans they had a lot more atmosphere and decoration and a bustling European feel. This may improve over time but new owners are providing a different experience along the same lines but Asian food for dinner.

The room was warm, it had a pleasant view. The shower was mostly very hot and functional, the rooms were quiet and tv was fine as well as kettle and teas. Tea range was excellent which we helped ourselves to from the kitchen/dining room. Common room/living space had big lounges, tv, fire and blankets which was great. Heating throughout the building was perfect, not too hot and yet not cold.

The room we were in was next to the public showers, which were noisy all night due to the water pipes in the walls whaling when someone was showering or using the water. Not too bad unless someone showers at 1am in the morning.

Host and workers are welcoming and helpful. It's close to the town centre and also a short drive from the mountains. Tidy and clean room.
