An absolutely wonderful stays. The room was fantastic, very comfortable and well-appointed with everything I needed. Beautiful design, lighting, etc. I got some fantastic food recommendations from the staff on reception.

Fantastic location just outside the CBD and with immediate access to great restaurants. Major museums, parks, and galleries are within easy walking distance, with easy access to public transport. Hotel staff were very helpful, professional, and accommodating. The vibe of the common areas and the rooms is modern, positive, artful, and fun. Room aren't huge, but well outfitted, with great showers, bathrooms, and bed. Breakfast is available on the ground floor, and the food is decent and well priced. Can't beat the location.

I loved the extra touches, such as the hair straightener and good quality hair dryer. The sense of humour in the messages was appreciated too. We are repeat customers and will definitely stay again next time we’re in Melbourne.

There were no instructions regarding how to turn off and on the lights on the mirror in the bathroom and also how to turn off the fan. Other than that it was great.

Location was great. The room was nicely renovated, comfortable and clean. My room was off the road so it was nice and quiet. Breaksfast was very nice and a good size for me, ie not too big and not too small.

The room only had 1 chair available, if 2 people were using the room you would need another chair.

Very comfortable and well laid out room, with enough charging points and a bathroom that was fully accessible. An umbrella proved to be very necessary and much appreciated.

Hated the refrigator. It was warm. Didn't keep my medicine cold. Constantly going to get ice, which didn't stay frozen as it's in a metal pail. Didn't like not having a top sheet and no blankets. Yes, I constantly moved the thermostat.

Loved the artwork. I could live in the elevator. The room was very nice. Very close to the Royal Exbition Center. I will book again for next year.

We liked this hotel so much that we returned later in our trip. Loved everything: staff, design, facilities and coffee! We were delighted to find that we could use the washing machine facilities free of charge. Great location with a short walk into the CBD.

No tissues, shower cap or water bottle provided which seems a bit miserly for a 4 star hotel at 4 star prices. No bath mat to walk onto out of the shower to avoid water on the floor outside the shower.

I appreciate mood lighting, but found the room to be a little too dark. Not a lot of space to store luggage, however that wouldn't put us off staying here again.

This boutique hotel is a real gem. Modern rooms with a great fit out, comfortable beds and well appointed, including quality hair dryer, hair straightener, coffee machine and bathroom products. Pleasant staff and a nice reception and breakfast area. Comfortable beds and excellent bed linen. Just on the outskirts of the city, but an easy walk into the action. Plenty of nearby bars and restaurants on Lygon St in Carlton, and the Carlton Gardens on your doorstep for morning runs, or basking in the sunshine. Onsite parking available. Wine bar/store on site. Would certainly stay here again.

A few suggestions noted above,but little to improve on!

Extremely comfortable beds ,very clean rooms and high standard of facilities..Appreciated the provision of blow dryer and curling/straightening wand.Effective blockout curtains and soundproofing so even though my room overlooked Lygon St noise was minimal. Roomservice was efficient and of a very good standard.Dishes that catered to different diet requirements so very helpful Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard and toiletries replenished on request . Appreciated the Nespresso facility -suggest you include Tea Tonic options in the room also [enjoyed at breakfast downstairs in the cafe] A water carafe with dedicated tumbler by the bedside would be a thoughtful and helpful inclusion . Liked your cards/pencil - gave me a chance to write some "Thankyou" notes to my colleagues in Melbourne
