Lovely location which offers a pleasant short walk to Mostar old town. Beautiful staff who are always making you feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms are great and a beautiful breakfast is a great start to the morning. The offered tours are also great and provide plentiful insight into Mostar History and it’s surrounds. A fantastic stay !!

Miran is very welcoming host and makes you feel right at home. The full day tour they offer is worth the money in my opinion. Beds were comfortable. Very close to bus/train station and quiet so very good location as well. All in all great atmosphere and I will definitely stay here again when in Mostar.

Perfect stay with a perfect host. Miran will make you feel at home and part of his family from the very first second you enter the place. It is one of the most genuine hostel experiences you will have, definitely one of my highlights in the Balkans. His Herzegovina tour is also a must. The dorms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning is also great! Miran is a great guy, and you will surely like him as much as I did.

The hostel is in a great location, very clean and has everything you need. The best thing about this place is the super friendly staff, especially Miran, who prepares a great breakfast every morning and is always looking after every wish of his guests. He also organizes a war tour in and around Mostar every day, showing you places and teeling you stories related to the Bosnian war that you will never see and hear if you only follow travel tips on the internet. So if you stay at Miran's, definitely do the tour. Big recommendation!

During my stay in Mostar, I had the pleasure of staying at Miran Hostel. The owner, Miran, is not only an 18-year experienced and well-known host, but also a professional tour guide. He takes great care in managing his rooms and ensures a peaceful and clean environment for his guests. The other guests were friendly, which made for a pleasant stay. The hostel's location is also great as it's close to both the train station and bus stops, making it convenient for travelers to explore the city. Miran offers an 8-hour tour, which I highly recommend. The tour includes at least four distant resorts, including a waterfall. When comparing the cost of one trip to any single place of his tour, it is more cost-effective to take his tour at 55 Euros. Miran is always willing to assist his guests in any way possible. For instance, when I lost my bag with my passport and purse during my travels from Mostar to Kotor, he promptly contacted the driver and ensured that my bag was with him. As a traveler, you know how nerve-wracking it can be to lose important belongings, so it was a thrilling moment for me when I received his reassuring message. Overall, my experience at Miran Hostel was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Mostar.

Miran is a great host, very kind and funny, he has a lot of great stories to share! He offered some bosnian coffee and tea. I didn't take the tours, but some other guests did and said great things about it and had great feedback about him as a guide.

Miran was the most amazing host who really gives his heart to running the hostel – he makes sure to create such a welcoming environment in the hostel and bring people together! The bus was late in from Dubrovnik and when I arrived he'd put out snacks and people were watching the football together (Bosnia won! Woo!) which was so nice to arrive to and meet people. The hostel is family-run, sociable but respectful (i.e. for keen travellers over partiers). Miran is a walking encyclopedia of Mostar and great for sharing advice, history, culture and his experiences – he runs a day tour around Hercegovina and the city where he shares his story which I'd recommend whether you're staying here or not! I feel honoured to have met and learnt from Miran and would always stay here in Mostar!

Really loved the host, Miran He teeated me as a family, as a friend, as a brother. Not only me but for every people that stayed in his hostel. Highly recommend the tours from the hostel, but if you have a low budget or not enough time, still recommend to take the war tour. You'll learn and feel more about the war better than the museum(the museum is also good tho) Thanks for everything Miran.

Set against the backdrop of a recent war, I fully understand that these are small things. In a way, that's what makes them so frustrating, they would be so easy (and mostly inexpensive) to fix and make the experience of staying here a lot better. - The tours are very expensive considering the location. - The mattress was VERY uncomfortable, I could feel all the individual springs in it as it's so old. - There's very little common area to hang out, just a small living room and a small area outside. - The bathroom does not have one single hook to hang things on. - The bathroom floor would inevitably get wet without something to catch the water when people get out of the shower, and then would be dirty from people using it afterward (shoes + wet floor) - There's only a thin curtain for the window so the room gets very bright, very early in the morning.

Good location. Decent place to stay, mostly clean and wifi worked well.
