Immediately next door, significant construction was taking place with concrete and brick/stone work. The workers were respectful and relatively quiet, though they were able to see us sitting on the back deck (and vice versa) throughout the work day, which unfortunately made our stay less quiet and relaxing than we expected. The construction method whereby the property is bounded by 10-foot high concrete walls also gives the house a strange feel - also, sharp pieces of metal protrude from the concrete wall at regularly intervals, so families with children should be careful.

The location on the small river is beautiful, and remote though not too far from Mostar (15-20 minute drive). The lounge/grill/barbecue area down by the river is really awesome. The main bed was quite comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped (though no oven). The air conditioning and wifi worked great. There is one bedroom, which was sufficient for our situation (two adults, a baby, and a dog) - the additional beds are in a loft area accessible by a 10-foot ladder attached to the wall - probably not safe for young children. The above-ground pool was a nice feature, though it was quite cold.

Pretty much everything about the House on the river is perfect. It’s the perfect getaway recharge hidden gem, if you know how to enjoy the nature!

The house was not very child friendly. There were no fences at the stairs outside. Also the garden walls had still metal pins on them. They were still under construction. The pool was not very clean. There were algae on the floor of the pool.

The contact with the owner was pleasant. The location was quiet but good to reach blagaj and mostar

The state of the pool was not according to the pictures in the ad. It looked dirty with a lot of algae growing in the bottom. We didn't feel like going in it.

Everything was very good and nice. The only thing we were disappointed was about the state of the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay! The place it’s amazing, all around you will find only nature and nobody around: it’s a perfect place to relax! The villa has got everything you need and in suuuuper clean! You can cook also at the bbq near the river. The river has crystal clear water where we had such wonderful time swimming. During the night there is total silence and you can see birds going around on the surface of the water. There is also a swimmingpool wich is perfect if u want a more „hotter” water then the one of the river. We highly raccomand this villa! The communication was on point and the we really felt walcomed! Stairs leading to the upper part of the room may be improved with safety aspects. Especially to prevent any accidents to children

A very ideal place for a family vacation. The specialty here is close to the river and has a swimming pool. Kind owner, I will come again. This place is well worth it for those who appreciate tranquility and fun. I feel like I'm in another world

For someone who truly wants rest, this is the spot. Situated on river Bunica (the source in fact), with lots of trees around, ducks quaking, frogs voicing, birds chirping. Ideal for families with kids and or pets. Nearest shop is 1.2 km away and restaurants around 3 km away. Having said that, if it was closer - there would not be peace and serenity as it is now. Owners are wonderful people, always there to accommodate.

I liked sound of water, nature and peacefulness.
