Bathtub is always a danger for older People and a walkin shower would perfectly make the difference.

Location very agreable and beach cozy with fabulous sea right at our feet. Hotel not very practical but room spacious and good beds.

Very dated especially bathrooms. Not a very warm welcome. Confusion over their pick up from cruise terminal, couldn’t find driver and turned out he was outside of the actual whole port and not outside the terminal with the other drivers awaiting their fares. Quite a walk with all our luggage in hot weather, luckily a port member of staff spoke to him on phone to ascertain his whereabouts and took us all the way otherwise we would never have found him.

Amazing location right on the beach. Large rooms. Good food at restaurant and restaurant staff very friendly.

The Hotel Rooms could do with a refurb especially bathrooms, showers and kitchen. We were staying a lovely 1 bedroom suite and the bed was fantastic as were the pillows, however our friends were in 2 bedroom apartment and several studios and there experience was not as nice as ours. Could do with upgrading with some mirrors and pictures etc. The WIFI was ok but you had to keep logging in which was a bit of a nuisance but at least it was free and worked.

The location is fantastic and we have been visiting Barbados for over 30 years and this is one of the best locations for us. The view from the balcony is just amazing. Our Kingsize bed was so comfortable and we slept so well and the AC worked really efficiently. The Ocean Courtyard Restaurant on site was a bonus and Tabbi, her gorgeous sons and staff are doing a great job. Asher the beautiful waitress was charming as was Darren. Always a smile on their faces. The cocktails were great and the food delicious in a great setting. Letesha on the front desk was just a delight and could not do enough for us and was super helpful always with a beautiful smile. Reggie on facilities was lovely and full of advise on trips etc. Having the security around the property made us feel very secure as the property is fairly open to road and car park.

The beach towels were frayed & old . There weren't enough towels available daily & late being ready for use . The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint on doors , walls & ceiling . Air conditioning in the living room & kitchen area would be beneficial.The other restaurants we visited offered more wine per glass for the same price. Some of the reception staff were not as helpful as others .Tesha was very personable & helpful . The meet & Greet should have more appetizer selection .& drink variety . There should be a daily Happy hour . Some loungers had broken slats . And cushion were worn & faded .

Beach was nice . Enough lounge chairs & Umbrellas. Two pools were a bonus .Cleaning staff were very friendly. Especially Deborah. The Facilty was kept clean . Restaurant staff was very nice . Especially Darren & Trisso . View from our balcony was nice . Reggie the tour guide was very personable & informative

WiFi was very patchy and kept knocking us out. Could do with upgrading. Beach could be cleared of seaweed/sargassum regularly.

Directly on the beach. Staff fabulous, super friendly and helpful. Easy to get sun lounger on beach or at pool. Superb sunsets. Loved MOJO right across the road.

The hotel is comfortable but beginning to look a little shabby in one or two areas, for example the skirting boards / tiling in the bathroom. I had to ask for the toilet to be fixed a couple of days into my visit but this was done very promptly and there were no further problems.

Excellent location right on the beach. Lovely, helpful staff. Supermarket and various other facilities (bars, shops, restaurants) within easy walking distance.

Reading previous reviews we were concerned about possible road noise but it wasn’t a problem at all. Slightly tired furnishings but the location more than makes up for that

The restaurant was recently opened and under new management. Menu was poor, waiters poorly trained and most requests could not be filled due to lack of supplies.

Balcony overlooking the sea, gardens were well maintained. Private beach and activities Director, Reggie, worked hard to help us enjoy our stay. If you like the sound of the surf almost at your doorstep you would love this.place

The hotel was great value for the on beach location and facilities offered. Obviously you can't expect 5 star facilities such as room service etc. The rooms were clean and cheerful but, especially the bathroom, quite dated. However it was spacious, with a good shower. There is a restaurant on site with a fairly limited menu but good for breakfast or lunch. It can be open in the evening but only if booked in advance, we didn't use it.

Very nice small hotel sharing the facilities and grounds with the Blue Orchid hotel. Very spacious room and bathroom with useful kitchenette including a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, etc and enough equipment to cook stuff if you wish; we didn't! There is enough storage and a safe, the bed was huge and comfortable. We had a lovely balcony with the most amazing view of the sea and beach, the ground floor rooms have a patio and less privacy. There is a lift. The staff are helpful and happy to book restaurants and taxi's if needed. The position was good, plenty of restaurants nearby and two supermarkets within a few minutes walk, it's also on a bus route. The crowning glory was the fabulous, clean sandy beach with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. It was mainly only used by residents so always quiet and not crowded. Be aware groceries are very expensive in Barbados but eating out reasonably priced in most restaurants. The locals use the Worthing Square food court for dining and takeaways, about 7 mins walk away with lots of choice from various van outlets. I'm not sure why Booking.com rated it an 8; I would give it at least a 9.

The road on the other side of the room was very noisy, day and night. It was essential to keep the bathroom door shut to try to muffle some of the noise

Some cleanliness concerns with room. Window alcove in kitchen was very dirty. Window coverings in both bathrooms were in poor repair and pull broke as soon as I tried to open them, so could not be opened to let the room air out. Armchair in living area needs replacing. Bottom was falling right out of it.

Oceanfront with nice deck overlooking the beach. Two pool options. Plenty of availability for lounge chairs and umbrellas when we were there for both beach and pools. Many options for food and drinks within easy walking distance.

Although the beach location is very good I could not get a drink from a beach bar during mid-afternoon. There is a restaurant but it was closed when I wanted to use it, Also, I considered the atmosphere at the restaurant somewhat lacking in warmth . Not particularly welcoming.

Because there was a problem with my booking I got upgraded. The upgrading was excellent.
