Bed VERY firm, only cheap paper cups issued for morning coffee not what i would expect from a Marriott Hotel! Cleaning had not been undertaken beneath the bed for some time, loose tap hanging out of the wall and loose shower curtain rail. Hotal ran out of shower gel so cheap bars of soap being handed out instead. Room left insecure by housekeeping staff one day, luckily no losses incurred.

Location good for local facilities and close to beaches, restaurants and boardwalk. Staff very friendly and addressed issues to my satisfaction.

Probably aimed more at business travelers than those on holiday. Self service laundry facilities onsite are crazy expensive ($10 for a token)! No kettle in the room, just a coffee pod machine.

Great large rooms. Really clean. Good room service. Staff were really friendly. Gym was good and well equipped. The hotel is not on the beach, but there is easy beach access directly opposite. The beach is nice, although can be rough so best for strong swimmers (unlike Carlisle Bay which is much more sheltered and calm). As a swimmer, I loved having the 25m lap pool!

The breakfast and dinner area needs relocation in my opinion. On exit of the elevators to almost stumble over the chefs preparing breakfast was quite off putting at times. The cooking smells that commanded the lobby area was very discouraging. No obvious and easy access to a beach is a disadvantageous but certainly not a show stopper in my opinion!

The location of the Marriott is its greatest asset. Walking distance of lots of nice bars and restaurants. On the main road where public transport was easily accessible. The mattress was indeed one of the finest I have ever lay upon. I always awoke fresh and energized for the day's activities.

The meals were not consistent in taste and presentation. The beach is across the street, but the water was shallow and the reef area is on that end of the beach. In the room, the beach towels were kid size, and only upon request for clean towels, we then received full size beach towels.

I liked the breakfast; the friendly staff. Location was central and an easy ride to key points.

The floors were cold and the room atmosphere clammy. The bathrooms need to be updated. My toilet leaked. The light above the sink in the bathroom emitted an annoying noise.

My breakfast order included a bowl of fruit which was not given but I received the next morning. I did have a A/C incident was not working. Also my last day A/c again stopped working and Coffee pot malfunction.

There 2 little things to take care off. The menu of the resuatant is very poor. Pleas bring more variety. Secondly: when people book a hotel and i note that i am for work they need to give me a room at the lowest floor and closer to the elevator. This time they gave me room 301.

I didn't like the fact that the room was dusty. My husband had a slight hayfever problem during the night.
