“I didn't think we'd find somewhere so heart warming and lovely after a long car journey in a windy and rainy, horrible sort of day. We arrived at the D&A Nest and felt immediately warm and welcomed. The place was nice and gives a lovely home feeling. The host was excellent, very friendly, and gave us such a wonderful breakfast that I still remember. We had many lovely conversations and she also made our children very entertained and happy. We were really lucky to find such a gem, and will definitely come back to stay in the future. “Is there a rating higher than 10? D&A Nest is a fantastic place to stay - a restored and converted farmhouse made into a B&B with guest rooms upstairs with the entrance and main kitchen and dining room downstairs. We found everything to be extremely clean, the room to be comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a great private shower room and the hosts to be absolutely lovely.
The "honesty fridge" (and coffee machine) is a nice touch and means that a selection of cold drinks and beers as well as proper coffee is available to guests at all times and at very reasonable prices.
We stayed with a baby and a comfortable baby crib was provided and also with two dogs for whom bowls were provided. The charge for the dogs was 15 euros which is also very reasonable charge in comparison to other places which sometimes charge per dog.
The parking is right outside and the surrounding area is extremely quiet.
We will definitely be staying again in the future.”
