Lack of information how to get there by public transport.

Chloe the receptionist was very helpful. Dinner was great in the hotel restaurant. Proximity to the battleground fantastic.

    There wasn't toothpaste.

Nice hotel in retro style, we had room under the roof, with nice old round windows. It was silent there. Comfortable beds, big bathroom.

Despite food was delicious, prices at the restaurant are too high.

Really good historical place. The hotel is a few hundred meters from the Waterloo battle museum and memorial.

As I stayed on a Monday night off-season, the hotel's restaurant was closed in the evening (bad-timing: it was open other nights in the week), but fortunately there is a good Italian restaurant next door.

Charming small hotel and restaurant overlooking Waterloo battlefield and monument. Good breakfast buffet. On-site parking.

Sound insulation not so great but the hotel is being renovated so maybe this will be improved. There is a work space area downstairs however I did not realise this until check out! No desk space to work in room.

Really friendly staff, great food, relaxed environment. Comfortable, firm bed & good pillows.

Great location but facility needs to be refreshed

Facility and room were were fine, but needed to be painted and minor repairs. My bathtub shower was missing the bar used to hold the hand-held shower head in place. The holes were there but the bar was gone. The whole facility was like that, needed refreshment and repair.

Location was excellent, right on the Waterloo battlefield along the British defensive ridgeline. Every site for the battle was in reasonable walking distance. Breakfast provided was very good, all you can eat. Room was small but comfortable, bathroom was a reasonable size with tub shower. Parking also provided.

We think that the hotel is being slowly renovated. However, the room we were in was one of the one's that hadn't been done yet and was quite dark.

The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting the Waterloo museum as it's a 5 minute walk. The hotel was easy to find and had a car park. We didn't go to the hotel restaurant for our evening meal, but the one next door, which was very busy and excellent. The hotel breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was expensive at 15 euros each. They're in the process of redoing the gardens so they looked a bit sad when we were there.

The breakfast was excellent we particularly appreciated there being soya milk and custard on offer.

Absolutely superb location looking over the Waterloo battlefield and 5 minutes walk from the Lion's Mount and Museum. Very comfortable beds. Windows were a bit small (portholes) on the second floor which didn't make the most of the view. Good breakfast!

Check-in. Nobody on the desk on arrival, (mid-afternoon), and sign directed us to the adjacent restaurant. Staff in restaurant didn't want to know! Rained during the night and our room had two velux windows. It was noisy. Otherwise no complaints.

Perfect location for the Waterloo battle field and museum. All in walking distance.

Great location right near the battlefields, the food in the restaurant was excellent, staff helpful but a few bits of maintenance required to the room. Not too bad a walk into town when we found the restaurant was closed and had to walk to Mac Donald’s.

Very strangely, the road outside seems to be popular with idiots who like to use it for racing motorbikes and cars. From early in the morning we were woken up by cars revving and speeding past our window.

Clean, decent sized room. Only minutes from the Waterloo museum so perfect for our trip. Had a bar so could have a drink at any time, which was good after visiting the battlefield, especially as the bars outside the museum are so poor. The restaurant in the evening was excellent. Seemed to be mainly locals coming for dinner.
