Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe breakfast wasn't great for us because it consisted mainly of highly processed and prepackaged foods. I think the best thing for us were the boiled eggs.

RomaniaNo sleepers, the bathtub was noisy and we didn’t had a thingy to put at the door with “no disturb”.
It was close to Brussel center, and all the major metro lines. It was clean, beds were comfortable, and the overall aesthetic was pleasing. The theme of the hotel matches its name. We had a great time. The breakfast was alright, nothing special, the same thing for 5 days. But it was nice to have in the morning and definitely it was not bad at all.

LithuaniaBreakfast menu was the same every day of our stay. It would be good to have something varm (like pancakes, scrambled eggs, sossages etc). We had a room in the first floor, so quite noisy from the street and impossible to open the window because of noise from the street.
Place in the city - it is located very centraly.

Costa RicaA brunette lady in the morning was a bit rude with us when we got to the breakfast area. However, a nice blonde lady and a man were really kind and helpful.
The room was great and the location perfect. The staff at the reception desk were really kind and friendly (Juliana was really kind with us). The breakfast was great, my sister and I were happy that we found hard eggs in the morning. The Grand Place (7 min walk) Bourse (5 min walk) They changed our towels and clean our room every day. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Overall, excellent choice if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Brussels.

United StatesBreakfast is ok but somewhat limited in choices. Only cold options. Some staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly the young lady from Colombia. Toilet paper is like sandpaper. Limited and low budget amenities are adequate.
Central location near most tourist sites and good restaurants. Good room size. Very clean.

United KingdomFirstly, while the breakfast provided at the hotel is satisfactory, there is room for improvement in terms of variety and quality. Expanding the selection of dishes and ensuring freshness and flavor could elevate the breakfast experience for guests. Additionally, providing proper mugs in the bedrooms for tea and coffee instead of paper ones would be a welcomed upgrade. Not only would this enhance the guest experience by offering a more enjoyable drinking vessel, but it would also align with environmentally friendly practices by reducing waste. By addressing these areas, Atlas Hotel Brussels can further enhance guest satisfaction and ensure a more enjoyable and sustainable stay for all visitors.
Atlas Hotel Brussels offers a delightful combination of comfort, convenience, and superb location in the heart of Belgium's capital city. The room exudes charm with its lovely and spacious layout, providing ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation. The comfortable bed ensures a restful night's sleep, allowing guests to wake up refreshed and ready to explore all that Brussels has to offer. One of the hotel's standout features is its prime location, situated exactly in the center of the city. Within a mere half kilometer from the iconic Grand Place, guests can easily stroll to this historic landmark in just 10 minutes, immersing themselves in the beauty and culture of Brussels. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the Saint Catherine and Bourse metro stations provides convenient access to further explore the city and its surrounding areas. The hotel's rooms and washrooms are well-appointed, providing a comfortable and functional space for guests to unwind after a day of sightseeing or business meetings. While maintaining a satisfactory standard, they offer a pleasant retreat amidst the bustling city center. Furthermore, guests can start their day on the right note with a satisfying breakfast served at the hotel. With a good selection of options to choose from, including both hot and cold dishes, guests can fuel up for a day of exploration ahead.

ItalyI spent 2 nights in Atlas Hotel on a business trip. I have chosen Atlas because it was on the few available structures within my budget. I have the feeling, rates were boosted due some events / holidays (the city was busy), but the room cost was not at all proportionate with the quality of the hotel and the provided services. The rooms is fine, but details are overlooked: no plugs next to the bed, finishings are poor, you can hear water use (shower, flishing) from other rooms (apart from that and from corridor noise, the room is well sound-proof). The wifi connection is slow, at least on floor 4. The breakfast is sufficiently rich in variety of food, but the quality is not so good.
I was very happy to get a quiet room on the top floor, as I indicated in the special requests (this is not obvious at all, so many thanks to the staff!). My room was cosy, big, and clean, with bath products of good quality. The hotel is located in one of my favourite areas of Brussels, full of bars, restaurants, shops and cozy cobblestone streets, 2 minutes walking from metro station and bus stops, and at a walking distance to everything. It is undoubtedly convenient for tourism. Reception 24/7.

United KingdomThere was a lot of noise transfer from joining rooms and hallways which can make sleeping a bit difficult and we also found that the air conditioning didn’t seem to work and instead was reliant on an open window. The bathrooms are a little basic and found that when showering it did tend to slightly flood the floor of the bathroom. Breakfast was okay if a little basic selection of choice. There is also a quirk that the room keys are physical keys, not swipe cards so again something to keep in mind and not loose.
Hotel is relatively clean and it’s location in the city is fairly central to all attractions. It is a 15/20 minute walk to Brussels central station so something to bear in mind if travelling with large cases by foot. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is okay, only continental but again does the job. There is a bag drop facility but it is only an open rack in reception so wouldn’t leave any valuables in the case if using this feature. Overall, I had pre-booked this hotel well in advance so the price I paid felt reflective of the room/service I received.
