nothing you could do in remodeling the lobby. We figured that was what made the rooms so nice. The lobby will be just as nice soon.

The room was fantastic. Very comfortable and useful.

    Nothing that was obvious.

Location handy for us to everything we needed. Great breakfast. Good welcoming hotel with a personal vibe. Even with all the people milling around . The warm colourful decor and big comfy couches with large rugs helped give the reception area a welcoming inviting feel. Staff attentive. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

A lovely 4-night stay at the Ashling Hotel in Dublin. Excellent staff! Accommodations were roomy, clean and well-appointed. Comfy beds and liked that the bathroom had room for toiletries. Conveniently located across the street from the River Liffey and an easy walk to Heuston train and tram station. Also steps away from the hop-on-hop-off tour bus stop. Don't miss breakfast--well worth the extra cost. The delightful Juliana will greet and seat you and, if the luck of the Irish is with you, she'll share a story and invite all to join in a sing along. Of note: The Ashling is undergoing a major redo, yet how amazing that we did not encounter any inconveniences with workers, equipment, noise, dust, or debris throughout our stay. Obviously the guests' experience during the construction is a high priority for both management and contractors, Well done and much appreciated!

Had to move rooms when we found there was no water coming out of the hot bath tap - then the room we moved to had virtually no water coming out of the bath cold tap.... better scenario but I think the hotel plumbing needs some attention. One member of staff in the Iveagh Bar lectured me like a school child when I pointed out that the hotel had linked the menu from the Chesterfields restaurant to the Iveagh Bar on the website. I would have thought 'thanks we'll look into it' would have been more appropriate', rather than a lecture on how to use a website and which days the Chesterfields restaurant was open.

Really nice rooms, most staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just brilliant and the lady on the breakfast reception was just wonderful. The location of the hotel really suited us as we were outside the city centre, so a bit quieter, but only five minutes walk away from the tram stop to get into the centre. Food in the restaurant was very good with VERY generous portions and well prepared.

Rooms could have a bit more quality for the price being paid. Television no smart access, bathroom poor shower

Staff were great and the food was beautiful for breakfast. Lovely street for a few pubs after the hustle of the main city centre.
