Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe second time we went to their rooftop bar in 8th floor was a bad experience that we ended up leaving. We arrived 22:53, we were seated right away and waiter got our orders. 20mins later and we noticed that the people who arrived after us has had their drinks. We followed up and the other waiter went to the bar and told us it was coming. Around 23:35, our orders still has not arrived. We left 2345 really disappointed with no drinks and cheese platter.
This is the second time I stayed here and got a bigger room. Again, location is very central, just about 6 mins walk to Grand Place and 11mins walk to Central station. Restaurants and shops next door. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. A guy receptionist called Albon/Alban was super friendly and let us check in 1hr early coz our room was ready. He was the same receptionist we had last time we stayed here. Their cleaners are brilliant, there was this filipina lady who overheard us talking about going to the toilet and she told us where it was. She was attentive and I must say, she’s very good with her job. Their public toilet were clean all the time and smells good. From now on, we will stay here whenever in Brussels. They are excellent. We only wish that there is a kettle in the room. Always love a cup of tea!

The room was good. It is not easy to find the parking but reception is very friendly and helpful. The lady from Ukraine at reception was amazingly helpful and assisting. Breakfast was good.

RomaniaThe hotel is closed to old city and many attractions. Supermarket near hotel, restaurants and 18 min walk from Gare Midi where is the shuttle bus for airport arrive/leave. Breakfast was good (different vegetable would not hurt :D). It was clean, spacious room, luggage store when arriving and for departure, always someone at the reception to help with anything you need. I like it and I will choose it again for the future.
