Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

The hotel is at a great location. Walking distance from the city center. Parking is available and located in the back, for a fee.

United KingdomStaff( male and female receptionists) who handled check- in on day of arrival.( 19th May 2024) A room with double bed was provided instead of twin beds as requested. When I enquired if there was a possibility of moving to a room with twin beds, The male receptionist informed me that none were available, as they were fully booked and I would have to check- in again, the following day; Then wait until 15.00 hours to see if a twin bedded room was available. I asked if I could check- in at reception and was told -NO; as check in could only be done online. I said I had no online access and was told - 'use your phone'. I replied that I was unable to book or check in on my phone, The male receptionist informed me that I should come to the reception the following morning where the Reservations Team would be able to help me to check in online as he was unable to help further. Fortunately a different receptionist was on duty the following morning ( 20th May 2024) He was very helpful and accommodating. When I enquired if there were any twin bedded rooms available he immediately said - yes, and a room was ready to be occupied at that time. He did not require online or further checking- in. No referral to the Reservations Team was needed. He immediately issued 2 keys for the new room and I was able to transfer immediately.. The male receptionist on duty on the morning of 20th May 2024 must be highly commended. He also provided me with information on sightseeing locations , travel and Tourist information sites. The receptionists on duty- afternoon of 19th May 2024; will require further training in customer service, as well as Bedford Hotel Policies and Procedures. Also helpful to these 2 individuals would be sessions on- ageism; misogyny; prejudice and racism

United KingdomThis is a nice hotel in a nice building and has a lovely foyer and reception area. The rooms are a little smaller than expected, but the bed was really comfortable. It was good value for money. The location is good for the Grand Place, which is less than 10 minutes walk away. It's about 20 minutes walk from Brussels Zuid, but through a not very nice area unfortunately. I would recommend taking a tram to beyond the hotel to nearer Grand Place and walking back to it through a better area, if arriving at night.

HungaryThe enamel of the bath was damaged, the room is very basic, though. Airco was not working, opening the window helped a lot, but in return it is noisy with open windows. The parking is not explained at all. It is in the back street of the hotel. Recommend to park on the 3rd (last) floor, otherwise it is difficult to find free places, as many are designated ones. The driveway inside the car park is very narrow, watch out carefully and use side cameras if you have. Part of the street of the parking garage is a one-way road. The Hotel gives a 3-euro discount, namely you pay 13 Eur instead of 16 eur per day.
Comfortable bed, parking in the neigbouring street, very close to the centre, quite OK breakfast.

TurkeyWifi is important especially when you travel for work from a non-EU country. Unfortunately wifi is weak in rooms. But it is better at the roof and lobby.
Location is very good. Rooms are OK in size and temperature. I liked the roof bar. Breakfast is not excellent but enough.

CanadaRoom was cleaned but corridors were a bit outdated and smelled bad. Hotel is clearly not super modern, it's getting a bit oldy but with a discount price it was still a very good value, not complaining.
Very correct hotel, room was comfy enough, big enough and clean enough. Had a big door window so was quite luminous. Staff is very nice as well. I asked for a room as far away from possible from the rooftop bar, I was on the 5th floor and it was very quiet, nothing to complain about. Also very very good location near the center and both train stations.

Tha location is excellent, all the main attractions are at a short walk away. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. The room had a basic old fashioned style and was not very bright, with a window on an internal court facing another building, but overall very clean. Very nice rooftop bar.

NetherlandsSleeping in a room on the 7th floor is not possible before 1 o'clock AM: there is a bar on the floor 8 with extremely loud music and constantly moving chairs just above your head. Single beds are TOO small, maybe it is my problem, but I almost fell down during the night.
The location is amazing, near the historical city. The price is completely fine for 2024. The staff is very polite, speaking multiple languages.
