How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The smallest room ever! If the bed is for two people, you can’t have one side block by the wall! Also, the towels were kind of kids size and just one for person! I mean, no towel for general bathroom’ use.
Great location, easy to reach the downtown.

There was no direct light on the desk in the room, only a ceiling light from behind, so it was not easy to read or write at the desk in the evening.
The bed and the bathroom were excellent. The location is very convenient for public transport. Reception staff are friendly and checkout is rapid.

Excellent location, just a 5 minute walk to Avenue Louise and trams. Very close to bus lines. Less than a 10 minute walk to the heart of Chatelain. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There was nowhere to dry the towels (not even hooks on walls etc) so we had to resort to replacing them every day. Also there was only 1 towel per person. The pool tabel in the lobby was a cool addition but it was almost impossible to play at some angles due to it being quite close to tabels and walls.
Good looking room, clean and tidy. The room was on the smaller side but still very comfortable and had nice big tv, small table with a chair and shelf for clothes. Also great breakfast, which didnt have a lot of variety, but everything they served was delicious. Big plus - you can make fresh waffels and they have unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice.

Well - as mentioned - all is a bit smaller. For those that need to work a bit in the room - the table and facilities are not built for this
It is a typical Acore hotel, small roms with most of the needed facilities. The location is good but a bit far from a metro station. The stuff is excellent - smiling and really like to help (great bonus)

I found the price a bit high; both the night price, but also the price for breakfast.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast had many options. The shower was great.

Stayed 3 nights and the tea cup I used the first day was never cleaned. Had expected a refill of the tea stuff also, but no. The desk was not cleaned the whole time.

The airconditioning made a high pitch noise which made it difficult to sleep the first night. Take earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast was good but could be better.
Staff were very nice, room was clean, nice and functional. Breakfast had the nicest orange juice I've tasted in a while. Coffee was nice.

The AC and heating was out of service in our room when we were there.
