Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomRoom was a little smaller than I expected, particularly the bathroom. It definitely wouldn’t hurt to refurbish and modernise the rooms a little. To be fair, it seems quite common for all Best Western hotel rooms to be in need of an upgrade, not just this particular hotel. I arrived quite late at night and needed a drink and a small snack, so was a little disapproving see the vending machine completely empty.
All staff were so lovely and polite! The bed was also very comfortable and they actually gave me a double bed rather than two singles like a lot of other hotels do for some reason. There was a TV, a kettle with some coffees and teas, plenty of toiletries and towels in the bathroom, and USB charging which was fortunate as I didn’t bring the correct travel adapter for Belgium. Be aware that it’s a while away from the centre of Brussels, but there is a tram stop which takes 60 seconds to walk to so it wasn’t really a problem for me. It is right near the Atomium, Mini Europe and a stadium and there are bars and restaurants on the street

We could without any problem change our room and that's a big plus, we got a room with even 3 beds. Overall the room was oldy but clean. The breakfast was very good and the location of the hotel near the metro and tram. Also atomium was not that far (1km or so).

They didn’t let me check in before exactly 14:00 (I arrived at 13:15) although it seemed that the room was ready and the guy at the reception wasn’t very welcoming. The guy that was there in the evening on the same day was super helpful and nice. It takes about 30min to the city centre.
The room was clean, towels were changed every day, bed was decent, there’s a bus stop in front and a metro stop few walking minutes away.

BulgariaThe door is opened and locked with a card. However, the additional lock on the door from inside is totally useless. Anyone with a card can enter. The cards regularly stop working. They don’t ask for any credentials at reception and if you say: my card doesn’t work they just ask to which room. And they set the card, no questions asked. It’s pretty unsettling to sleep in there. I’ve never had negative encounters but just wanted to mention. The rooms are very very small.
The location is ok for my work. I’ve stayed there many times simply because of the location but that’s all.
