1. The room, although clearly marked and advertised as smoke-free, had been smoked in. The smell was there and … annoying. 2. We stayed at the property 4 months ago at a much better price, 15€ difference. There is no reason for that price hike. The room was the same, the amenities were the same.

Very clever way of presenting the breakfast. I went from "a fast bite before I go", to ... "let me enjoy this moment". You also have the possibility to work remote during the day in the breakfast area... Good job.

Although there were two pillows and I used both, it was too soft and low for me. I didn't bother to get up and ask for another one. Although I believe they would help..

I really like how all ibis hotels are offering the same standards that you used to. This is why I prefer ibis whenever possible. This hotel staff was also perfectly friendly, the room and bed was comfortable, and the design was also enjoyable. The location of the hotel is just around the corner after the rathaus, which is where the Christmas market is. This was a big plus since you can go and have a look, enjoy and get back to your hotel without any tiredness.

My particular room felt very dated. The only free sockets were by way of an extension lead. It was borderline too cold and altering the temperature didn’t seem to make any difference. As you turn the temperature of the shower up, the pressure goes down so it ends up feeling very lame. The towels were small and thin. The room generally lacked any character or appeal at all. Nothing like any Ibis hotel I’ve stayed in in the UK which have always been great, I thought the standard was the same worldwide, clearly not. If I’d been booked in for personal time away for more than a couple of days, I would have tried to cancel, very disappointing.

The staff were fantastic, really friendly and great at what they do. Although they don’t advertise the fact that they do food, there is a snack menu which defied all expectations, spag Bol was so good I had it twice! Location was very good. Bed was very comfortable.

1. We said a double bed and we got 2 separate single beds next to each other. 2. City view was written in my booking, because of hotel's location, there is no nice city view. Its normal view. 3. The price was high with respect to the location of hotel from Antwerp.
