Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThree of us stayed on a motorbike trip. We arrived after an afternoon of significant rain and the host could not have been more understanding or helpful when it cam to our sodden kit. He was also more than happy to order a taxi into town and breakfast was ready for us when we got up. This is a beautiful property and it was a very good stay.

United KingdomWe greatly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this establishment. The property is in a very pleasant countryside location. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good - what the English used to call a continental breakfast of coffee, bread, cheese, jam, yoghurt and fruit. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable with a sink in the room. There are four rooms and two bathrooms which was fine. I know some people have complained about not having en suite but for the price I don’t think you can complain.

BelgiumOur main issue was with the owner attitude towards us. He seems bothered to have guests and children (although the B&B is very well designed for families with communicating rooms) as he has tried to separate the guest house as much as possible from his house. So he does not want to see the guests enjoying the sunny main courtyard. He made us also clearly feel that we were not the kind of guests he is used to have as we were on a bicycle weekend. So all in all I think he should not have a B&B on his property. I could have given a worse rating because of that but to be honest, without this, the property deserves a 10/10. Small issue also with the shower tabs that do not work properly but the owner is aware of this.
The rooms are very confortable as well as nicely decorated. The fact to have the whole guest house for our group of 2 families including living room and tearoom. The house is right next to the "Ravel" biking route leading to Namur.

BelgiumWe had the top rooms, and they were VERY "eaved"/"mansardé". We had to remember constantly to be careful to not hit our heads. We saw the first floor rooms and they were much, much better.
For us, the location was the most important thing. The room and their decoration was very stylish, and the price for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers was unbeatable.

United KingdomThe problem is that this was advertised to us as a ‘hotel’ by booking.com it is not a hotel. It is a house that gave the impression of little privacy. It was late in the evening when we arrived. First we could not find this ‘hotel’ due to it being hidden behind trees with no lighting what so ever to indicate that this is where the hotel is, there was no signs what so ever. We had to ask help from a nearby local who did not know himself that there is a hotel at the address that was given. This hotel is basically a house so if you’re into that kind of thing then sure this will work for you. But if you’re travelling with family like we were then NO! It was literally in the middle of nowhere. The owner seemed nice and showed us around… took us to the attic where we had booked 2 rooms. The bathroom was separated from both rooms and the attic itself did not have a door allowing no privacy going to and fro from the bathroom. After seeing all this… we decided this hotel was not for us and chose to not stay.
